BRUNEI MUARA AND TEMBURONG, Thursday, 10 December 2020 –
Taking a different approach to community outreach, personnel from B and Command Company of First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) went to Kampong Pudak Mosque to perform Maghrib prayers with the Head of the Village, Imam, Mosque committee and residents of Kampong Pudak. This was followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasin, Tahlil and Isyak prayers before proceeding to the house of the Head of the Village to enjoy some light refreshments and interact with the local residents.
Meanwhile a similar event was conducted by E Company 1Bn RBLF at Kampong Belais Mosque, Temburong with the presence of the Head of the Village, Imam and residents of Kampong Belais.
This event had positive feedback from the local residents as it allows personnel of 1Bn RBLF to foster a stronger relationship with the local residents as well as to enliven the mosques and surau of rural areas within Brunei Muara and Temburong District.
MENYEMARAKKAN MASJID KAMPONG PUDAK DAN MASJID KAMPONG BELAIS DENGAN AKTIVITI KEAGAMAAN
BRUNEI MUARA DAN TEMBURONG, Khamis, 10 Disember 2020 – Melalui pendekatan yang berbeza dalam menjalin hubungan erat bersama masyarakat tempatan, anggota-anggota daripada Kompeni B dan Kompeni Memerintah Batalion Pertama Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (1Bn TDDB) telah berkunjung ke Masjid Kampong Pudak untuk menunaikan sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib berjemaah bersama dengan Ketua Kampong, Imam, Ahli Jawatankuasa Masjid dan penduduk-penduduk Kampong Pudak. Majlis diteruskan dengan membaca Surah Yaasin, Tahlil dan sembahyang Fardhu Isyak berjemaah sebelum menikmati jamuan ringan dan seterusnya berinteraksi dengan penduduk kampung di rumah Ketua Kampong, Kampong Pudak.
Sementara itu, Kompeni E 1Bn TDDB turut mengunjungi dan melaksanakan aktiviti yang sama di Masjid Kampong Belais Daerah Temburong dengan adanya kehadiran Ketua Kampong, Imam Masjid dan penduduk-penduduk Kampong Belais.
Acara tersebut memberikan impak yang positif dengan memberikan peluang anggota-anggota 1Bn TDDB untuk mengukuhkan hubungan ukhuwah bersama penduduk-penduduk kampong di samping menyemarakkan lagi masjid-masjid dan balai ibadah di kawasan pedalaman Daerah Brunei Muara dan Daerah Temburong.
