BRUNEI, Friday, 29th March 2024 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) today presented donations to 123 children with special needs of the family members of RBLF. The event was held simultaneously today for the month of Ramadhan 1445H.
Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of RBLF presented the donations to nine recipients of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Headquarters (RBLF HQ) and RBLF HQ Company held at the Officers’ Mess Berakas Garrison. While, Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander of RBLF and Lieutenant Colonel Azhar bin Matzan, Commandant of CSS RBLF presented the donations to 47 recipients of the Combat Service Support (CSS) RBLF at the Warrant Officers, Staff Sergeant and Sergeants’ Mess, Berakas Garrison and Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Acting Field Commander RBLF as well as Commanding Officers of respective units to hand over donations to 26 children of Field Headquarters RBLF, Second Battalion RBLF, Third Battalion RBLF, Combat Engineer Regiment RBLF, Assault Reconnaissance Squadron RBLF and School of Infantry RBLF personnel at the Officer’s Mess, Penanjong Garisson.
Similar event was also held at Ibnu Sina Lecture Hall, Medical Services Headquarters, Bolkiah Garrison which was presented by Colonel (Dr) Haji Awg Mohd Hafizul bin Haji Awg Mohd Hassan, Chief Medical Services RBLF and Colonel (Dr) Jefri bin Haji Abd Razak, Chief Dental Services to 19 recipients. Another 19 children received their donations at Cookhouse, Berakas Garrison by Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Ridzamfaizal bin Pengiran Haji Salleh, Commanding Officer First Battalion RBLF. Lieutenant Colonel Norranellwi bin Siaran/Searen, Commanding Officer of RGdR RBLF presented the donations to three recipients of Royal Guards Regiment (RGdR) at the Cookhouse RGdR RBLF, Sungai Akar Camp.
The event commenced with the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Arwah, followed by the presentation of the donations to children with special needs and ended with iftar. This event was part of the RBLF’s community service initiatives aim to foster empathy and care the special needs children within the RBLF. It also serves to enhance camaraderie among RBLF staff and the families of these children which such efforts underscore the RBLF’s dedication to the welfare of children with special needs.
SUMBANGAN DERMA MEMBAWA KECERIAN UNTUK ANAK-ANAK ISTIMEWA
BRUNEI, Jumaat, 29 Mac 2024 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penyampaian Sumbangan Derma kepada 123 anak istimewa bagi ahli keluarga anggota-anggota. Majlis yang berkebajikan ini diadakan bagi penyampaian derma secara serentak pada harini ini untuk bulan Ramadhan 1445H.
Penyampaian derma kepada sembilan anak istimewa anggota Markas TDDB dan Kompeni Markas TDDB telah disempurnakan oleh Brigedier Jeneral Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Pemerintah TDDB bertempat di Mes Pegawai Berakas Garison. Selain itu, Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB dan Leftenan Kolonel Azhar bin Matzan, Komandan KBK TDDB telah menyampaikan sumbangan derma kepada 47 anak istimewa KBK TDDB di Mes Pegawai Waran, Staf Sarjan dan Sarjan, Berakas Garison. Leftenan Kolonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Pemangku Pemerintah Medan TDDB bersama Pegawai – Pegawai Pemerintah unit telah menyerahkan sumbangan derma kepada 26 anak istimewa anggota Markas Medan TDDB, Batalion Kedua TDDB, Batalion Ketiga TDDB, Rejimen Jurutera Tempur TDDB, Skuadron Kereta Peninjau Perisai TDDB dan Sekolah Infantri TDDB.
Majlis yang sama turut diadakan di Dewan Kuliah Ibnu Sina, Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan, Bolkiah Garison yang mana 19 anak istimewa Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan serta Khidmat Pergigian TDDB telah menerima sumbangan yang disampaikan oleh Kolonel (Dr) Haji Awg Mohd Hafizul bin Haji Awg Mohd Hassan, Ketua Pegawai Perubatan dan Kolonel (Dr) Jefri bin Haji Abd Razak, Ketua Pegawai Pergigian. Seramai 19 anak istimewa dari Batalion Pertama TDDB menerima derma yang disampaikan oleh Kolonel Pengiran Ridzamfaizal bin Pengiran Haji Salleh di Rumah Masak, Berakas Garison. Manakala, seramai tiga anak istimewa RPD TDDB telah menerima sumbangan dari Leftenan Kolonel Norranellwi bin Siaran / Searen, Pegawai Pemerintah, RPD TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Tahlil dan Doa Arwah, diikuti dengan penyampaian sumbangan derma kepada anak-anak istimewa yang diraikan dan diakhiri dengan berbuka puasa. Majlis berkebajikan ini diadakan setiap tahun dan merupakan antara aktiviti kemasyarakatan yang dijalankan sebagai lambang keprihatinan dan pemedulian terhadap kebajikan anak-anak istimewa anggota TDDB.
