PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 26 March 2021– The closing ceremony of the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) (CVR(T)) Troop Sgt Course and Armoured Personal Carrier Troop (APC) Sgt Course 2020 and Combat Engineer Recce Sgt Course 1/2021 took place at Support Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Force (Sp Bn RBLF). Present as the guest of honour for the ceremony was Major Masmun Bin Haji Kassim, Acting Commanding Officer of Sp Bn RBLF.
A total of 24 participants attended the CVR(T) Troop Sgt Course and APC Troop Sgt Course 2020 consisting of personnel from Armour Recce Squadron (ARS) Sp Bn RBLF, Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) Platoon from 2Bn RBLF and 3Bn RBLF as well as the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF). The Overall Best Student Award and Best Theory Award was awarded to Corporal Mohammad Fariz Bin Haji Zamil, the Best Driving and Maintenance Award to Corporal Khairul Amin Bin Haji Johari, Best Gunnery Award to Corporal Md Yunus Bin Haji Suili, and Best Signaler Award to Corporal Herdey Yusra Bin Arbi while Corporal Norzulfadhlizal Bin Md Jaafar won the Best Tactic Award. The objectives of the CVR(T) Troop Sgt Course and APC Troop Sgt Course are to provide knowledge and skills in terms of administration for both peacetime and operational requirements as well as delivery of briefings at the shooting ranges.
Meanwhile, 14 participants attended the Combat Engineer Recce Sgt Course 1/2021 consisting of personnel from Combat Engineer Squadron (CES) Sp Bn RBLF, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosive Defence Unit (CBRE) Sp Bn RBLF and the Assault Pioneers Platoon Command Company 2Bn RBLF. The Overall Best Student Award and Best Theory Award for Combat Engineer Recce Sergeant Course 1/2021 was awarded to Corporal Abdul Muiz Bin Haji Hamidon and Corporal Hardi Bin Awg Alek was awarded Best Tactical Brief Award. The objectives of the course are to provide skills to execute detailed engineer recce and provide comprehensive reports prior to executing tasks. It also provided opportunities for course participants to learn how to present tactical briefs to their superiors.
The closing ceremony began with the recitation of surah Al-Fatihah and followed by the certificate presentation. The ceremony then continued with a recitation of Doa Selamat led by Ustaz Haji Shahrul Azrimin Bin Haji Bidin, Religious Teacher of Penanjong Garrison and concluded with the group photo and light refreshments.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS TRUP SJN CVR(T) DAN TRUP SJN KAP SESI 2020 SERTA KURSUS SJN TINJAU JURUTERA TEMPUR SIRI 1/2021
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 26 Mac 2021 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Trup Sjn Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) (CVR(T)) dan Trup Sjn Kereta Angkut Perisai (KAP) Sesi 2020 serta Kursus Sjn Tinjau Jurutera Tempur Siri 1/2021 telahpun diadakan bertempat di Batalion Bantu Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (Bn Bantu TDDB). Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Mejar Masmun Bin Haji Kassim, Pemangku Pegawai Pemerintah, Bn Bantu TDDB.
Seramai 24 anggota telah menghadiri Kursus Trup Sjn KPP Dan Trup Sjn KAP Sesi 2020 yang terdiri daripada anggota-anggota Skuadron Kereta Perisai Peninjau (SKPP) Bn Bantu TDDB, Platun Kereta Angkut Perisai (KAP) dari 2Bn TDDB dan 3Bn TDDB dan Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB). Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan dan Terbaik Teori disandang oleh Koperal Mohammad Fariz Bin Haji Zamil, anugerah Terbaik Dalam Bidang Memandu dan Memelihara disandang oleh Koperal Khairul Amin Bin Haji Johari, anugerah Terbaik Dalam Bidang Gunnery disandang oleh Koperal Md Yunus Bin Haji Suili, anugerah Terbaik Dalam Bidang Semboyan disandang oleh Koperal Herdey Yusra Bin Arbi dan anugerah Terbaik Dalam Bidang Taktik disandang oleh Koperal Norzulfadhlizal Bin Md Jaafar. Adapun objektif kursus adalah untuk memberikan peserta kursus pengetahuan dan kemahiran di dalam pentadbiran krew semasa aman dan operasi sebagai Trup Sjn samada KPP atau KAP serta penyampaian taklimat semasa berada di padang tembak.
Manakala seramai 14 anggota telah menghadiri Kursus Sjn Tinjau Jurutera Tempur Siri 1/2021 yang terdiri daripada Skuadron Jurutera Tempur (SJT) Bn Bantu TDDB, Unit Pertahanan Kimia, Biologi, Radiologi dan Letupan (Pthn KBRL) Bn Bantu TDDB serta Platun Rintis Serang Kompeni Memerintah 2Bn TDDB. Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan dan Terbaik Teori bagi Kursus Sjn Tinjau Jurutera Tempur Siri 1/2021 disandang oleh Koperal Abdul Muiz Bin Hj Hamidon TDDB manakala Koperal Hardi Bin Awg Alek mendapat anugerah Taklimat Terbaik. Objektif kursus ini adalah untuk memberikan peserta kursus kemahiran untuk melaksanakan tugas tinjauan jurutera dengan terperinci dan membuat laporan selepas tinjauan yang lengkap sebelum tugas-tugas dilaksanakan. Di samping itu, kursus ini juga mendedahkan kepada peserta kursus tatacara penyampaian taklimat di peringkat taktikal kepada pihak atasan.
Majlis penutup dimulakan dengan bacaan surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil kepada peserta-peserta kursus. Majlis diteruskan lagi dengan bacaan doa selamat yang dibacakan oleh Ustaz Haji Shahrul Azrimin Bin Haji Bidin, Guru Ugama Penanjong Garison dan diakhiri dengan bergambar ramai dan menikmati jamuan.
