BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday 15 January 2019 – A Company Drill and Pace Stick Drill competition for Non-Commissioned Officers in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) 57th Anniversary was held this morning at the First Battalion RBLF parade square in Berakas Garrison.
The competition will take place from 15 January to 17 January 2019. Five teams will participate in the competition consisting of teams from First Battalion, Second Battalion, Third Battalion, Support Battalion and Combat Service Support RBLF.
The Company Drill competition consists of 3 Phases. The first phase of competition is the Company Sergeant Quarter Master Drill, the second phase is the Company Sergeant Major Drill and the third phase is the Company’s Commanding Officer Drill. A clothing inspection was also conducted before the competition. The Pace Stick Drill competition will focus on group and individual drill.
The competition aims to enhance the quality of both Company Drill and Pace Stick Drill of the Non-Commissioned officers from each Battalion in the RBLF. As one of the RBLF activities held in conjuction of the RBLF’s 57th anniversary, it also encourages teamwork and competitive spirit amongst the RBLF personnel.
PERLAWANAN KAWAD KOMPENI DAN KAWAD TONGKAT BAGI PTB-PTB KANAN SEMPENA HARI ULANG TAHUN TDDB KE 57 TAHUN
BERAKAS GARISON, Selasa 15 Januari 2019 – Perlawanan Kawad Kompeni dan Kawad Tongkat bagi PTB-PTB Kanan sempena meraikan Hari Ulang Tahun Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (HUT TDDB) yang ke 57 tahun, telah berlangsung pagi tadi bertempat di Padang Kawad Batalion Pertama TDDB, Berakas Garison.
Perlawanan ini telah bermula pada 15 Januari 2019 hingga 17 Januari 2019 yang mana disertai oleh 5 pasukan terdiri dari Batalion Pertama, Batalion Kedua, Batalion Ketiga, Batalion Bantu TDDB dan Khidmat Bantuan Kombat TDDB.
Perlawanan Kawad Kompeni tersebut mengandungi 3 Fasa. Fasa pertama adalah Kawad Kompeni Kuater Master Sarjan, fasa kedua adalah Kawad Kompeni Sarjan Mejar dan fasa ketiga adalah Kawad Pegawai Memerintah Kompeni. Pemeriksaan pakaian juga dijalankan sebelum perlawanan dimulakan bagi setiap kumpulan. Manakala, Perlawanan Kawad Tongkat hanya tertumpu kepada kawad berkumpulan dan perseorangan sahaja.
Perlawanan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan lagi mutu Kawad Kompeni dan Kawad Tongkat bagi PTB-PTB Kanan. Sebagai salah satu aktiviti sempena HUT TDDB yang ke 57, ianya juga memupuk semangat kerjasama dalam satu pasukan untuk anggota-anggota TDDB.
