BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday 19 February 2019 – Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) today received a courtesy call from Major General John P. “Pete” Johnson, Deputy Commanding General, United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) at RBLF Headquarters.
During the courtesy call, the Commander of RBLF extended his appreciation for the support accorded to the RBLF through the continuous participation in exercises and conferences and reaffirmed the close defence relations between the Royal Brunei Land Force and the United States Army Pacific. Both sides also reiterated their hope for more interactions to further strengthen the military-to-military relationship between both land forces in the future.
His visit concluded with a luncheon hosted by Commander RBLF which took place at Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison.
PEMERINTAH TDDB MENERIMA KUNJUNGAN HORMAT DARIPADA DEPUTY COMMANDING GENERAL, US ARMY PACIFIC
BERAKAS GARISON, Selasa 19 Februari 2019 – Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), hari ini telah menerima Kunjungan Hormat daripada Mejar Jeneral John Pete Johnson, Deputy Commanding General, US Army Pacific (USARPAC) bertempat di Markas TDDB.
Semasa Kunjungan Hormat tersebut, Pemerintah TDDB merakamkan penghargaan di atas sokongan yang diberikan kepada TDDB melalui penyertaan latihan dan lawatan dan merasa berpuas hati dengan hubungan mesra dan erat di antara Angkatan Tentera kedua-dua negara. Kedua belah pihak juga menekankan harapan untuk meningkatkan interaksi bagi mengukuhkan lagi hubungan ketenteraan di antara kedua buah angkatan tentera pada masa akan datang.
Lawatan tersebut diakhiri dengan Jamuan Makan Tengahari bersama Pemerintah TDDB bertempat di Mes Pegawai Berakas Garison.
