KUALA LUMPUR, Friday, 11 OCTOBER 2019 – Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, the Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) was inducted as the 12th member of the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College (MAFDC) Hall of Fame at a ceremony held at
Dewan Trisakti MDAFC. The induction was conducted by First Admiral Mohd Fadzli Kamal bin Mohd Mohaldin, the Commandant of MAFDC.
During the induction ceremony, the Commander of RBLF received an honourary certificate and memento. The Commander of RBLF’s portrait was also showcased in a special gallery comprised of previous Hall of fame recipients.
In his speech, the Commander of RBLF expressed his gratitude for his induction to the MAFDC and described it as a memorable experience as he is the first Commander from the Royal Brunei Land Force to be honoured as a member of the MAFDC Hall of Fame.
Also present during the event was the Chief of the Malaysian Army, Deputy Chief of the Royal Malaysian Airforce, Senior Officers from the Royal Malaysian Armed Forces, Alumni and Directing Staffs of MPAT Series 33/2013 as well as the participants of the current MAFDC Course.
The MAFDC Hall of Fame was introduced during the 45th Board of Governor Meeting on 30th December 2013. In order to be a member of the Hall of Fame, the candidate must be a college alumni and has attained an important position in his service. The induction ceremony serves to recognise and honour the MAFDC alumni.

KUALA LUMPUR, JUMAAT, 11 OKTOBER 2019 – Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah dimasyhurkan sebagai Ahli
Hall of Fame Maktab Pertahanan Angkatan Tentera (MPAT) yang ke-12 semasa Majlis Pemasyhuran
Hall of Fame Siri 12/2019 yang diadakan di Dewan Trisakti MPAT. Acara pemasyhuran itu telah disempurnakan oleh Laksamana Pertama Mohd Fadzli Kamal bin Mohd Mohaldin, Komandan MPAT.
Semasa Majlis Pemasyhuran tersebut, Pemerintah TDDB menerima sijil peribadi dan hadiah penghargaan. Gambar potret Pemerintah TDDB juga telah dipamerkan di ruang galeri khusus bersama dengan penerima-penerima
Hall of Fame MPAT yang lain.
Dalam ucapan beliau, Pemerintah TDDB menzahirkan rasa syukur atas pengiktirafan serta penghargaan yang diterima. Beliau menyifatkan bahawa menyertai kursus di MPAT merupakan pengalaman yang tidak dapat dilupakan kerana beliau adalah Pemerintah TDDB yang pertama untuk mendapat anugerah Ahli
Hall of Fame daripada MPAT.
Turut hadir dalam majlis tersebut adalah Panglima Tentera Darat Malaysia, Timbalan Panglima Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia, pegawai-pegawai kanan daripada Angkatan Tentera Malaysia, alumni kursus dan jurulatih MPAT Siri 33/20103 serta peserta-peserta kursus MPAT yang sedang menjalani kursus semasa ini.
Hall of Fame MPAT telah ditubuhkan semasa Mesyuarat Lembaga Gabenor Maktab yang ke-45 pada 30 Disember 2013 yang mana calon yang layak dimasyhurkan sebagai ahli Hall of Fame MPAT mestilah terdiri daripada alumni maktab yang telah berjaya menjawat jawatan tertinggi di dalam perkhidmatan masing-masing. Pemasyhuran ini secara langsung adalah pengiktirafan dan penghormatan berprestij tertinggi MPAT kepada alumninya.
