TUTONG, Tuesday, 25th June 2024 – The Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, visited Exercise PAHLAWAN WARRIOR 3/2024 during the final attack of the jungle phase of the exercise held at the Training Area Kampong Benutan, Tutong. The jungle phase was conducted from 23rd to 25th June 2024, involving troops from A Company, Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (A Coy 2Bn RBLF) and the 3rd Squadron – 4th Cavalry of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, United States Army Pacific (3 – 4 CAV, 3rd Bde Combat Team, USARPAC).
Also present were Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Baharuddin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Commanding Officer of the 2Bn RBLF, and Lieutenant Colonel Joshua Long, Battalion Commander of the 29th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division.
Upon arrival at the exercise area, the Commander of RBLF was briefed on the exercise scenario by Major Muhammad Iqbal Arqam bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Officer Commanding C Coy 2Bn RBLF. The entourage then proceeded to the final attack location to observe the execution phase. The Commander of RBLF also had the opportunity to interact with the participants and expressed his appreciation for their efforts and professionalism throughout the exercise.
The Exercise PAHLAWAN WARRIOR will continue with live-firing phase at Binturan Range, Penanjong Garrison and to end on 30 June 2024. This year’s marks the third series of Exercise PAHLAWAN WARRIOR which was first held in 2018.
LAWATAN PEMERINTAH TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI BAGI SERANGAN AKHIR FASA HUTAN EKSESAIS PAHLAWAN WARRIOR
DAERAH TUTONG, Selasa, 25 Jun 2024 – Brigedier Jeneral Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah membuat lawatan semasa serangan akhir fasa operasi hutan Eksesais PAHLAWAN WARRIOR 3/2024 yang diadakan di kawasan latihan Kampong Benutan, Tutong. Fasa tersebut telah dijalankan bermula pada 23 hingga 25 Jun 2024, yang melibatkan Kompeni A, Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (Komp A, 2Bn TDDB) bersama 3rd Squadron – 4th Cavalry of 3rd Brigade Combat Team, United States Army Pacific (3 – 4 CAV, 3rd Bde Combat Team, USARPAC).
Turut hadir ialah Leftenan Kolonel Pengiran Baharuddin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Pegawai Pemerintah 2Bn, dan Leftenan Kolonel Joshua Long, Battalion Commander, 29th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, TDDB, Pegawai-Pegawai TDDB dan anggota-anggota USARPAC.
Sebaik tiba di kawasan eksesais, Pemerintah TDDB telah diberikan taklimat senario eksesais yang disampaikan oleh Mejar Mohammad Iqbal bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Pegawai Memerintah Komp C, 2Bn TDDB. Rombongan kemudiannya bergerak ke lokasi serangan akhir bagi menyaksikan perlaksanaan. Pemerintah TDDB juga berpeluang untuk berinteraksi bersama para peserta dan beliau merakamkan penghargaan atas usaha dan profesionalisme mereka sepanjang eksesais dijalankan.
Eksesais PAHLAWAN WARRIOR akan diteruskan dengan fasa menembak peluru hidup di Padang Tembak Binturan, Penanjong Garrison dan akan berakhir pada 30 Jun 2024. Tahun ini merupakan siri ketiga Eksesais PAHLAWAN WARRIOR dilaksanakan yang mana ianya pertama kali diadakan pada 2018.
