BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 01 June 2022 – Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir, Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received an introductory call this morning at the RBLF Headquarters from Commodore Nasir Mahmood Ti (M), the Non-Resident Pakistan Defence Attaché accredited to Brunei Darussalam who is based in Malaysia.
During the call, Commander of RBLF welcomed and congratulated Commodore Nasir for his appointment as the Pakistan Defence Attaché accredited to Brunei Darussalam on 19 August 2021. The commander of RBLF also extended his appreciation for the constant cooperation accorded by the Pakistan Armed Forces especially in terms of military relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan that has bonded stronger over the years through the exchanges of visits, courses, training, and multilateral interactions. Both sides expressed their gratitude towards the warm bilateral ties shared, as both are a Muslim-majority nations. Towards the end of the call, both sides look forward to any more opportunities for cooperation and interactions. Commodore Nasir will be in Brunei Darussalam from 31 May 2022 to 03 June 2022.
PEMERINTAH TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI TERIMA KUNJUNGAN PENGENALAN DARIPADA ATASE PERTAHANAN PAKISTAN KE NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BERAKAS GARISON, Rabu, 01 Jun 2022 – Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) menerima kunjungan pengenalan pada pagi ini bertempat di Markas TDDB daripada Komodor Nasir Mahmood Ti (M),, Atase Pertahanan Pakistan di Malaysia yang diakreditasikan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Semasa perjumpaan tersebut, Pemerintah TDDB mengalu-alukan dan mengucapkan tahniah kepada Komodor Nasir atas pelantikannya sebagai Atase Pertahanan Pakistan ke Negara Brunei Darussalam pada 19 Ogos 2021. Pemerintah TDDB turut merakamkan penghargaan atas kerjasama berterusan yang diberikan oleh Angkatan Tentera Pakistan khususnya dalam hubungan ketenteraan antara Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Republik Islam Pakistan yang telah berkembang maju melalui pertukaran lawatan, kursus, latihan dan interaksi pelbagai hala. Kedua-dua pihak menyatakan rasa terima kasih mereka terhadap hubungan dua hala yang mesra, kerana kedua-duanya adalah negara majoriti Islam. Di hujung perjumpaan tersebut, kedua-dua pihak juga menantikan sebarang peluang lagi untuk kerjasama dan interaksi. Komodor Nasir akan berada di Negara Brunei Darussalam dari 31 Mei 2022 hingga 03 Jun 2022.
