BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 22 December 2021 – Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received a farewell call from Senior Colonel Li Jianzhong, the outgoing Defence Attaché of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam at RBLF Headquarters. The farewell call was carried out in accordance with the protocols that have been set by the Ministry of Health.
During the call, the Commander of RBLF conveyed his appreciation to Senior Colonel Li Jianzhong for his cooperation and contribution during his tenure as the Defence Attaché of the People’s Republic of China in Brunei Darussalam in coordinating bilateral cooperation between both countries.
The Commander of RBLF also acknowledged the cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of China through high-level visits, medical assistance, port visits, multilateral joint exercises, and training. The Commander of RBLF also expressed his appreciation to the Chinese Government for their contributions to Brunei Darussalam’s COVID-19 response notably donations of vaccines, medical equipment and the Airlab.
Senior Colonel Li Jianzhong was appointed as the Defence Attaché of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam in December 2019.

BERAKAS GARISON, RABU, 22 Disember 2021 – Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menerima kunjungan perpisahan daripada Senior Kolonel Li Jianzhong, mantan Atase Pertahanan Republik Rakyat China ke Negara Brunei Darussalam di Markas TDDB. Kunjungan hormat tersebut telah dilaksanakan mengikut protokol yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Kesihatan.
Semasa perjumpaan tersebut, Pemerintah TDDB menyatakan rasa penghargaannya kepada Senior Kolonel Li Jianzhong atas kerjasama dan sumbangan beliau sebagai Atase Pertahanan Republik Rakyat China ke Negara Brunei Darussalam di sepanjang tempoh perkhidmatan beliau dalam mengkoordinasi kerjasama dua hala di antara kedua buah negara.
Pemerintah TDDB juga meluahkan rasa penghargaan atas kerjasama erat antara Negara Brunei Darussalam dan Republik Rakyat China melalui lawatan-lawatan peringkat tinggi, penyediaan khidmat bantuan perubatan, lawatan-lawatan kapal, latihan dan eksesais pelbagai hala. Pemerintah TDDB meluahkan rasa penghargaan kepada Kerajaan China di atas sumbangan vaksin, peralatan perubatan dan Makmal Airlab kepada Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Senior Kolonel Li Jianzhong telah dilantik sebagai Atase Pertahanan Republik Rakyat China ke Negara Brunei Darussalam sejak Disember 2019.
