LUMUT CAMP, Thursday, 17 December 2020 – Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Brigadier General Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan had a visit today and meet with participants of the Advanced Infantry Course at Lumut Camp. A total of 109 personnel from Recruit Intake 166 currently undergo the 4-weeks Advanced Infantry Course organised by the Third Battalion RBLF (3Bn RBLF). The course which started early December is expected to conclude on the 31st December 2020.
Upon arrival, the Commander of RBLF was received by Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammad Alimin bin Haji Subohi, Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF. The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a speech delivered by the Commander RBLF. In his speech, the Commander RBLF emphasised for all personnel to prepare themselves in all aspects of discipline and security. He advised the participants to maintain a high standard of discipline, and to avoid negative social issues, such as drug abuse, drinking alcohol, absent without leave (AWOL), all of which are against the military act, as well as both civilian and syariah law. The Commander RBLF then continue to talk about the negative impact of social media that could tarnish the positive image of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), as well as jeopardize operational security. He stressed out the importance of professionalism in carrying out duties and responsibilities that should aim to project a positive image for the RBAF, hence building trust and confidence amongst the public. In his speech, the Commander RBLF also touched about the welfare of RBLF personnel. The meeting session concluded with the closing Doa.
PERJUMPAAN PEMERINTAH TDDB BERSAMA PESERTA KURSUS LANJUTAN INFANTRI
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Khamis, 17 Disember 2020 – Pada hari ini, Brigedier Jeneral Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan selaku Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah membuat lawatan dan seterusnya mengadakan perjumpaan bersama anggota-anggota lepasan Rekrut Pengambilan Ke-166 yang sedang menjalani Kursus Lanjutan Infantri bertempat di Perkhemahan Lumut. Seramai 109 anggota terlibat di dalam kursus tersebut yang mana kursus ini diadakan selama empat minggu berturut-turut dan dijangka selesai pada 31 Disember 2020 di bawah pengendalian Batalion Ketiga TDDB (3Bn TDDB).
Sejurus ketibaan, Pemerintah TDDB disambut oleh Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammad Alimin bin Haji Subohi, Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB. Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan ucapan daripada Pemerintah TDDB. Dalam ucapan Pemerintah TDDB, beliau menekankan kepada semua peserta kursus untuk mempersiapkan diri dalam segala aspek disiplin dan sekuriti. Beliau juga menasihatkan agar semua peserta kursus untuk sentiasa berwaspada terutamanya dalam penggunaan media sosial, dan sentiasa memelihara disiplin untuk mengelakkan diri dari terjebak dengan gejala sosial seperti penyalahgunaan dadah, meminum minuman keras, tidak hadir tanpa cuti (THTC) dan sebarang aktiviti yang bercanggah dan melanggar Undang-undang Tentera, Negara dan Syariah. Pada masa yang sama, Pemerintah TDDB turut menasihatkan agar peserta sentiasa bersikap profesional dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggungjawab yang diamanahkan. Dalam ucapan, beliau turut menyentuh perihal kebajikan anggota TDDB. Sesi perjumpaan diakhiri dengan bacaan doa penutup.
