KILANAS, Tuesday, 06 July 2021 – The Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Brigadier General Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, had made a visit to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) temporary Laboratory in Brunei Agricultural Research Centre (BARC) located at Kampong Kilanas. Also present was, Lieutenant Colonel Hj Mohd Norfahssin bin Hj Abd Karim, the Head of Inspectorate Unit RBLF.
The arrival of the Commander of RBLF was welcomed by Colonel (Dr) Awang Mohd Hafizul bin Haji Mohd Awang Hassan, the Chief Medical Officer of RBAF. Also present was the Military Laboratory Team (MLT) from RBAF.
Throughout the visit, the Commander of RBLF was briefed on the history of RBAF Laboratory, the latest updates on the COVID-19 testings and the activities of MLT. The Commander of RBLF was also briefed about the laboratory’s future plan in improving and supporting the Ministry of Health in controlling the spread of COVID-19 infections as well as the establishment of the RBAF Laboratory on 24 March 2020 as part of the capability contingency plan in line with the whole of government approach.
The Commander of RBLF was then brought to tour the laboratory’s main operational area. Towards the end of the laboratory tour, the Commander of RBLF shared his view on improving the laboratory’s quality as well as its benefits to society. He also mentioned the importance of practising the RBAF Core Values which are Setia, Taqwa, Berani and Professional in any situation. The visit was then concluded with the signing of parchment by the Commander of RBLF and a group photo session.
PEMERINTAH TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI ADAKAN LAWATAN KERJA KE MAKMAL ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI
KILANAS, Selasa, 06 Julai 2021 – Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah membuat lawatan ke Makmal sementara Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) yang terletak di Pusat Penyelidikan Pertanian Brunei, Kampong Kilanas. Turut hadir bagi lawatan tersebut ialah Leftenen Kolonel Hj Mohd Norfahssin bin Hj Abd Karim, Ketua Inspektorat Unit TDDB.
Ketibaan Pemerintah TDDB telah disambut oleh Kolonel (Dr) Awang Mohd Hafizul bin Haji Mohd Awang Hassan, Ketua Pegawai Perubatan ABDB. Turut hadir ialah anggota-anggota Makmal ABDB.
Di sepanjang lawatan tersebut, Pemerintah TDDB berkesempatan untuk mendengar taklimat mengenai sejarah makmal ABDB, maklumat terkini mengenai Ujian COVID-19 dan juga aktiviti anggota-anggota Makmal ABDB dan seterusnya diberi penerangan mengenai perancangan pada masa hadapan bagi meningkatkan dan juga memberi sokongan kepada Kementerian Kesihatan dalam menangani penularan wabak COVID-19. Di samping itu, Pembangunan makmal sementara ABDB telah di tubuhkan pada 24 Mac 2020 sebagai Rancangan Kontingensi Keupayaan Negara. Pemerintah TDDB Kemudian dibawa untuk melawat ke tempat operasi utama makmal ABDB.
Selepas lawatan ke tempat operasi makmal ABDB, Pemerintah TDDB berkesempatan memberi pandangan bagi meningkatkan kualiti makmal dan juga impaknya kepada masyarakat. Beliau juga menerangkan tentang kepentingan untuk sentiasa menerapkan nilai teras ABDB iaitu Setia, Taqwa, Berani dan Profesional dalam apa jua keadaan. Lawatan kemudian di akhiri dengan menandatangani lembaran kenangan oleh Pemerintah TDDB dan sesi bergambar ramai.
