LUMUT CAMP, Wednesday, 15th May 2024 – Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received a visit from the delegation of the Command and Staff Class (CSC) 74, Philippines Armed Forces as part of their study tour to Brunei Darussalam. The visit took place at Third Battalion RBLF, Lumut Camp and with Head of Delegation, Colonel Ronald Albert P. Genete PA (GSC), the Director of the Leadership Development Center at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Education, Training and Doctrine Command (AFPETDC). The delegation consisted of 53 course participants of CSC Class 74, Philippines Armed Forces alongside Directing Staff and Supporting Staff.
Upon arrival at Lumut Camp, the delegation was welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammed Airol Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Acting Chief of Staff RBLF at the Pipeband Auditorium, Lumut Camp followed by a briefing delivered by a staff officer from the RBLF Headquarters on RBLF aspirations and challenges. The visit proceeded with exchange of mementos then a group photo session. The visit continued with a view of a static exhibition showcasing the RBLF assets and capabilities before concluding it with a light refreshment at the Officer’s Mess, Lumut Camp.
This study visit underlined the Royal Brunei Land Force’s commitment to strengthening international relationship and enhancing mutual understanding and military cooperation amongst defense partners.
LAWATAN COMMAND AND STAFF CLASS 74, PHILIPPINES ARMED FORCES KE TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Rabu, 15 Mei 2024 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) menerima lawatan daripada Command and Staff Course Class 74, Philippines Armed Forces sebagai sebahagian daripada lawatan sambil belajar ke Negara Brunei Darussalam. Lawatan tersebut berlangsung di Batalion Ketiga TDDB, Perkhemahan Lumut dan diketuai oleh Kolonel Ronald Albert P. Genete PA (GSC), Director of the Leadership Development Center at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Education, Training and Doctrine Command (AFPETDC). Delegasi tersebut juga terdiri daripada 53 peserta kursus CSC Kelas 74 serta Directing Staff dan Supporting Staff.
Sejurus tiba di Perkhemahan Lumut, rombongan disambut oleh Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammed Airol Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Pemangku Ketua Staf TDDB bertempat di Dewan Auditorium Platun Serunai dan Tambur, Perkhemahan Lumut dan diteruskan dengan taklimat disampaikan oleh pegawai dari Markas TDDB yang memfokuskan kepada aspirasi dan cabaran TDDB. Lawatan kemudian diteruskan dengan pertukaran cenderahati diikuti dengan bergambar ramai. Lawatan kemudian beralih ke pameran statik yang mempamerkan aset- aset dan keupayaan TDDB sebelum diakhiri dengan lawatan di sekitar perkhemahan dan menikmati jamuan ringan di Mes Pegawai, Perkhemahan Lumut.
Lawatan sambil belajar ini menggambarkan komitmen Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei dalam mengukuhkan hubungan antarabangsa dan meningkatkan persefahaman dan kerjasama ketenteraan di kalangan rakan-rakan pertahanan.
