BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 22 April 2021 – Combat Service Support Royal Brunei Land Force (CSS RBLF) has organised the Ramadhan Iftar and the handing over of donations to orphans and children with special needs of CSS RBLF. The event was held at Officer’s Mess, Berakas Garrison. A total of 14 orphans and 20 children with special needs of CSS RBLF personnel were invited to the event.
Present as the guest of honour was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Abdul Mutalip bin Bujang, Commandant of CSS RBLF. Also present were Senior Officers, Officers and personnel from CSS RBLF.
The event commenced with the recitation of Tahlil and Doa Arwah led by Corporal Md Khairul Azam Shah bin Hj Azamain from the Religious Department of Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The event then continued with the presentation of the donations by the guest of honour along with the other Senior Officers, Lieutenant Colonel Azhar bin Hj Matzan, Commanding Officer, Logistic Depot CSS RBLF and Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mushiri Zulkhibri bin Haji Awang, Commanding Officer, Land Engineering CSS RBLF respectively.
This event serves to be part of community service activities to nurture a culture of giving and generosity amongst the RBLF personnel especially for the orphans and children with special needs in the month of Ramadhan.
KHIDMAT BANTUAN KOMBAT TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI ADAKAN MAJLIS BERBUKA PUASA DAN PENYAMPAIAN SUMBANGAN DERMA KEPADA ANAK-ANAK YATIM DAN ANAK-ANAK ISTIMEWA
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 22 April 2021 – Khidmat Bantuan Kombat Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (KBK TDDB) telah menganjurkan Majlis Berbuka Puasa serta Penyampaian Sumbangan Derma kepada Anak-anak Yatim dan Anak-anak Istimewa khusus bagi warga anggota yang berkhidmat di dalam Unit KBK TDDB. Majlis tersebut telah diadakan di Mes Pegawai Berakas Garison dan diserikan dengan kehadiran seramai 14 orang anak-anak yatim dan 20 orang anak-anak istimewa anggota KBK TDDB.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Abdul Mutalip bin Bujang, Komandan KBK TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-pegawai kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota KBK TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Tahlil dan Doa Arwah yang diketuai oleh Koperal Md Khairul Azam Shah bin Haji Azamain daripada Jabatan Agama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei dan diteruskan dengan penyampaian sumbangan derma yang telah disampaikan oleh tetamu kehormat majlis bersama-sama Pegawai-pegawai kanan yang lain iaitu Leftenan Kolonel Azhar bin Haji Matzan, Pegawai Pemerintah Depoh Logistik KBK TDDB dan Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mushiri Zulkhibri bin Haji Awang, Pegawai Pemerintah Kejuruteraan Darat KBK TDDB.
Majlis ini merupakan salah satu aktiviti kemasyarakatan yang bermanfaat dan meningkatkan amal ibadah serta mencerminkan sikap keprihatinan dan budaya bersedekah di kalangan warga TDDB terutama kepada anak-anak yatim dan anak-anak istimewa sempena bulan Ramadan.
