PENANJONG GARRISSON, Thursday 11 April 2019 – The closing ceremony for the Range Management Course (RMC) Series 1/2018 was held at the Dining Hall, Support Battalion, Penanjong Garisson.
Present as the guest of honor for the ceremony was Major Rudie Asmawie bin Hj Abidin, Chief Instructor of the Training Institute, Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Also present during the ceremony were senior officers, officers and invited guests.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of surah Al-Fatihah and a post-course briefing by Warrant Officer 2 Pg Kamal Arifin Bin Pg Mohammad as the organiser of the course. The ceremony was followed by the presentation of certificates and concluded with the closing remarks from the guest of honour. In his speech, the guest of honour emphasised the importance of attending RMC in relation to the health and safety aspect of conducting a firing range exercise.
The Best Theory Award went to Staff Sergeant Hj Khairol bin Diris from the Medical Services, Combat Service Support. Meanwhile, the Best Practical Award and Best Student Award for RMC Series 1/2018 went to Lieutenant Pg Muhammad Khair bin Pg Abdullah Sani from the Combat Boat Squadron, Support Battalion.
The RMC Series 1/2018 took place from 14 February 2019 until 12 April 2019 and was attended by 42 participants from various units of the Royal Brunei Land Forces including 02 Officers. The course serves to train the officers and seniors ranks as firing range officers especially in other areas relating to administration, supervising, and invigilating on different levels.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS PENGAWAS PADANG TEMBAK SIRI 1/2018
PENANJONG GARRISON, Khamis 11 April 2019 – Upacara Majlis Penutup bagi Kursus Pengawas Padang Tembak (RMC) siri 1/2018 telah diadakan di Dewan Makan, Batalion Bantu, Penanjong Garrison.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis adalah Mejar Rudie Asmawie bin Haji Abidin, Ketua Jurulatih Institut Latihan, Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir semasa majlis tersebut adalah Pegawai-pegawai kanan, Pegawai-pegawai, Lain-lain peringkat dan jemputan khas.
Upacara tersebut dimulakan dengan bacaan surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan taklimat mengenai pencapaian peserta-peserta kursus RMC siri 1/2018 daripada Pegawai Waran 2 Pg Kamal Ariffin bin Pg Mohammad selaku Pengendali Kursus. Upacara tersebut kemudian diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil dan ucapan penutup daripada Tetamu Kehormat. Didalam ucapan beliau, Tetamu Kehormat Majlis menekankan kepentingan menghadiri Kursus RMC yangmana merangkumi aspek kesihatan dan keselamatan dalam mengendalikan Eksesais Tapak Tembak.
Penerima anugerah Teori Terbaik bagi Kursus RMC Siri 1/2018 diberikan kepada Stap Sarjan Haji Khairol bin Diris daripada Pusat Khidmat Perubatan, Khidmat Bantuan Kombat, manakala anugerah Praktikal Terbaik dan Penuntut Terbaik bagi Kursus RMC Siri 1/2018 diberikan kepada Leftenan Pg Muhammad Khair bin Pg Abdullah Sani daripada Skuadron Bot Tempur, Batalion Bantu.
Kursus RMC Siri 1/2018 bermula daripada 14 Februari 2019 hingga 12 April 2019 and dihadiri oleh 42 peserta termasuk 2 orang Pegawai yang terdiri daripada Unit-unit dibawah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei. Tujuan kursus ini diadakan adalah untuk melatih and mendedahkan Pegawai-pegawai dan PTB Kanan sebagai Pegawai Tapak Tembak yang berkaitan dengan pentadbiran, penyeliaan dan pengawasan dalam peringkat yang berbeza.
