BINTURAN PENANJONG, Wednesday, 25 October 2023 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held the closing ceremony of Exercise SEMANGAT BERSATU III today at the Binturan Shooting Range. The exercise was held from 16 October 2023 until 26 October 2023.
The event was attended by Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of RBLF. Also present were Deputy Commander RBLF, senior officers from RBLF Headquarters and Commanding Officers from the respective battalions.
Among the programmes included was the Commander RBLF’s visits to the RBLF Brigade Command Post and Second Battalion RBLF Tac Headquarters for an operation brief on the final attack. This was followed by the demonstration of the live-firing exercise which showcased an integrated final attack by the Combined Arms Battalion (CABn) to defeat the enemy with the implementation of assets in carrying out the joint attack mission deemed essential in facing complex and ambiguous challenges.
The closing ceremony of the Exercise SEMANGAT BERSATU III concluded with a parade and the presentation of badge by the Commander of RBLF to mark the initiation of the personnel involved in the exercise into CABn.
The exercise aims to ensure that RBLF personnel will always be ready and capable of deploying rapidly, and to test the units in operation according to the principles of warfare using combined arms. In addition, it also aims to enhance interoperability between Land Force components and external components during operations.
UPACARA PENUTUP EKSESAIS SEMANGAT BERSATU III 2023
BINTURAN PENANJONG, Rabu, 25 Oktober 2023 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) terus memperkasa keupayaan anggota dan aset terlibat melalui Eksesais SEMANGAT BERSATU III yang telah berakhir pada hari ini melalui Upacara Penutup Rasmi eksesais bertempat di Kompleks Padang Tembak Binturan, Penanjong Garison. Eksesais tersebut telah berlangsung pada 16 Oktober 2023 hingga 26 Oktober 2023.
Upacara tersebut telah disempurnakan oleh Brigedier Jeneral Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai kanan Markas TDDB dan Pegawai-pegawai Pemerintah Batalion TDDB.
Antara program yang dijalankan termasuk lawatan Pemerintah TDDB ke Brigade Command Post TDDB dan Markas Tac Batalion Kedua TDDB bagi penyampaian taklimat operasi serangan akhir. Acara diteruskan dengan menyaksikan demonstrasi eksesais menggunakan peluru hidup melalui serangan akhir secara bersepadu dari Combined Arms Battalion (CABn) bagi menumpaskan pihak musuh dengan penggunaan aset – aset dalam melaksanakan misi serangan bersama yang mencabar dan kompleks.
Upacara penutup Eksesais SEMANGAT BERSATU III diakhiri dengan perbarisan dan penyampaian lencana yang disempurnakan oleh Pemerintah TDDB sebagai lambang anggota terlibat memasuki CABn.
Eksesais ini bertujuan dalam memastikan anggota TDDB sentiasa bersedia dan berkeupayaan untuk bergerak pantas, terutamanya bagi menguji unit-unit dalam operasi mengikut prinsip peperangan menggunakan combined arms. Selain itu, ia berperanan untuk meningkatkan interoperabiliti dan kerjasama di kalangan komponen Tentera Darat dan komponen luar semasa menjalankan operasi yang dipertanggungjawabkan.
