CLOSING CEREMONY OF EXERCISE RINTIS BERSAMA 2018

SUNGEI GEDONG CAMP, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Monday 12 November 2018 – The bilateral Exercise Rintis Bersama 2018 involving the personnel from Combat Engineer Squadron, Support Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (CES Sp Bn RBLF) and the 38th Singapore Combat Engineer, Singapore Armed Forces (SCE SAF) concluded today. 

The closing ceremony of Exercise Rintis Bersama 2018 was held at the Armoured Engineer Training Centre (AETC) Training Ground in Sungei Gedong Camp. Present as the Guest of Honour were Colonel Chua Jin Kiat, Assistant Chief of General Staff, G6, Singapore Army and Colonel Khairil bin Haji Ismail, Chief of Staff RBLF.  
Also present during the ceremony were SAF Commander of Army Combat Engineer Group (ARMCEG), Commander   of   Engineer   Training   Institute (ETI); Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosives Defence  Group  (CBRE  DG)  and  the  Deputy  Commanding Officer Sp Bn RBLF.

This year’s Exercise Rintis Bersama saw the participation between the regional forces with the combination of Field Engineer and Armoured   Engineer   task   in   overcoming   and construction of obstacles. The exercise focused on capabilities and exchange of Techniques, Tactics and Procedures (TTP) as well as progressive training exercise with the deployment of 38th SCE Armoured Engineer Vehicles.   

Exercise Rintis Bersama is an annual exercise where Brunei Darussalam and Singapore take turns to host.  Exercise Rintis Bersama was conducted by the SCE SAF and held every two years in the Republic of Singapore.

CES Sp Bn RBLF will host the next Exercise Rintis Bersama in 2019.

UPACARA PENUTUPAN EKSESAIS RINTIS BERSAMA 2018

KEM SUNGEI GEDONG, REPUBLIK SINGAPURA, Isnin, 12 November 2018 – Eksesais dua  hala  iaitu  Eksesais  Rintis  Bersama  2018  yang  melibatkan penyertaan antara  Skuadron Jurutera  Tempur  (SJT),  Batalion  Bantu  Tentera  Darat  Diraja  Brunei  (TDDB)  dan  38th Singapore Combat Engineer  (SCE)  Singapore Armed Forces  (SAF) berakhir  hari ini.

Upacara  penutupan  rasmi  Eksesais  Rintis  Bersama  2018  diadakan  bertempat  di  Kawasan Latihan Armoured Engineer Training Centre (AETC) di Kem Sungei Gedong. Hadir selaku Tetamu-tetamu Kehormat  bagi  upacara  tersebut  adalah  Kolonel Chua Jin Kiat, Assistant Chief of General Staff, G6, Singapore Army dan Yang Mulia Kolonel Khairil bin Haji Ismail, Ketua Staf TDDB.

Turut hadir semasa majlis tersebut adalah SAF Pegawai Pemerintah Army Combat Engineer Group (ARMCEG), Engineer Training Institute (ETI) dan Chemical, Biological Radiological and Explosives Defence Group  (CBRE DG) and Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah Bn Bantu TDDB.

Eksesais Rintis Bersama pada tahun ini menyaksikan penyertaan di antara kedua-dua belah tentera dengan gabungan tugas Jurutera Medan dan Jurutera Berperisai dalam mengatasi dan membina  halangan.  Latihan  ini  memfokuskan  kepada  keupayaan  dan  pertukaran  Teknik, Taktik dan Prosedur (TTP) serta latihan progresif dengan menggunakan Kenderaan Jurutera Berperisai SCE ke-38. Kedua-dua belah tentera telah berjaya mencapai pertukaran kemahiran dan pengetahuan profesional melalui eksesais ini.

Eksesais Rintis Bersama adalah eksesais tahunan di mana Brunei Darussalam dan Singapura bergilir-gilir  menjadi  tuan  rumah.  Eksesais  Rintis  Bersama  dijalankan  oleh  SCE  SAF  dan diadakan setiap dua tahun di Republik Singapura.

SJT Bn Bantu TDDB  akan  menjadi  tuan rumah  bagi Eksesais  Rintis  Bersama  pada  tahun 2019.
