LUMUT CAMP, Tuesday 26 March 2019 – The closing ceremony for the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Special Task Platoon 2018 course took place at the Track & Field Third Battalion Royal Brunei Landforce (3Bn RBLF). A total of 16 military personnel successfully completed the course which was conducted from 27 January 2019 until 26 March 2019.
Present as the guest of honour for the ceremony was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Hj Lampoh, the Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force. Also present at the ceremony were the Chief of Staff, Commanding Officers, officers and other RBLF personnel.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah which was led by Ustaz Mohammad Rusaini bin Awang, Religious Teacher of Surau Ar-Rahmah. A post-course brief was given by Lieutenant Mohd Iqbal Arqam bin Hj Abd Rahman, the course organiser. The ceremony was followed by a demonstration on combat patrol and drills on rescuing war prisoners. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificate and badge to the course participants and the closing remarks by the guest of honour.
For the Intermediate course, the Best Student Award went to Private Asrollyyzam bin Budin. For the Advance course, Private Muhd Zulfadillah bin Hj Latip achieved Best Student Award and the Best Physical Fitness Award went to Private Abd Qayyum bin Mohd Sufri.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS ASAS DAN KENAIKAN TARAF PLATUN GERAK KHAS PERINGKAT TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Selasa 26 Mac 2019 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Asas dan Kenaikan Taraf Platun Gerak Khas (PGK) Peringkat TDDB bagi tahun 2018 telah diadakan di Padang dan Balapan Batalion Ketiga TDDB (3Bn TDDB). Seramai 16 anggota telah berjaya menamatkan kursus tersebut yang bermula daripada 27 Januari 2019 hingga 26 Mac 2019.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Hj Lampoh, Pemerintah TDDB. Juga hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Ketua Stap TDDB, Pegawai-Pegawai Pemerintah, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah yang di pimpin oleh Ustaz Mohammad Rusaini bin Awang, Guru agama Surau Ar-Rahmah. Taklimat ringkas kemudian di sampaikan oleh Yang Mulia Leftenan Mohd Iqbal Arqam bin Hj Abd Rahman selaku Pegawai Pengendali Kursus PGK bagi tahun 2018. Majlis diteruskan dengan pertunjukkan demonstrasi anggota PGK yang melaksanakan rondaan tempur ,menyelamatkan tawanan perang dan seterusnya membuat tindakan serta merta dan serangan hendap. Majlis disudahi dengan penyampaian sijil dan lencana kepada peserta kursus PGK disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat majlis.
Penuntut Terbaik bagi Kursus Pertengahan disandang oleh Soldadu Asrollyyzam bin Budin. Penerima sijil Penuntut Terbaik bagi Kursus Lanjutan jatuh kepada Soldadu Muhd Zulfadillah bin Hj Latip manakala Penuntut Terbaik Latihan Jasmani disandang oleh Soldadu Abd Qayyum bin Mohd Sufri.
