TUTONG CAMP, Monday, 22 April 2019 – The closing ceremony for the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Mortar Platoon 2019 course took place at the Football Field, Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF). A total of 53 military personnel successfully completed the course which was conducted from 04th March 2019 until 23rd April 2019.
Present as the guest of honour for the ceremony was Colonel Khairil bin Hj Ismail, the Chief of Staff RBLF. Also present at the ceremony were the Commanding Officers, officers and other RBLF personnel.
The ceremony began with a post-course brief given by Lieutenant Mohammad Muzani bin Hj Awang as the course organiser. The ceremony was followed by a demonstration of Mortar attack on enemy camp. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates and badge to the course participants and the closing remarks by the guest of honour.
For the Basic course, the Best Student Award went to Private Mohammad Hanan bin Zakeria from 2Bn RBLF. For the Intermediate course, the award was given to Private Mohammad Haziq Aqeemy bin Kolut from 3Bn RBLF and for Advance course goes to Private Mohammad Shah Neey bin Kasim.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS ASAS DAN KENAIKAN TARAF PLATUN MERTAK PERINGKAT TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Isnin, 22 April 2019 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Asas dan Kenaikan Taraf Platun Mertak Peringkat TDDB bagi tahun 2019 telah diadakan di Padang Bola Batalion Kedua TDDB (2Bn TDDB). Seramai 53 anggota telah berjaya menamatkan kursus tersebut yang bermula daripada 04hb Mac 2019 hingga 23hb April 2019.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Yang Mulia Kolonel Khairil bin Hj Ismail, Ketua Staf TDDB. Juga hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Pegawai-Pegawai Pemerintah, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan taklimat ringkas yang di sampaikan oleh Yang Mulia Leftenan Muzani bin Haji Awang selaku Pegawai Pengendali Kursus Mertak bagi tahun 2019. Majlis diteruskan dengan pertunjukkan demonstrasi anggota kursus yang melaksanakan serangan mertak terhadap perkhemahan musuh. Majlis disudahi dengan penyampaian sijil dan lencana kepada peserta kursus yang disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat majlis.
Penuntut Terbaik bagi Kursus Asas Mertak disandang oleh 50676 Sld Mohammad Hanan bin Zakeria dari 2Bn TDDB. Manakala bagi Kursus Pertengahan Mertak jatuh kepada 18711 Sld Mohammad Haziq Aqeemy bin Kolut dari 3Bn TDDB dan bagi Kursus Lanjutan Mertak disandang oleh 19116 Sld Mohammad Shah Neey bin Kasim dari 3Bn TDDB.
