LUMUT CAMP, Thursday, 20 June 2019 – The closing ceremony for the Advanced Infantry Course conducted by Third Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) was held at the Cookhouse, Lumut Camp. A total of 165 personnel successfully completed the course which took place from 13 May 2019 until 20 June 2019.
Present as the guest of honour at the ceremony was Lieutenant Colonel Tamin bin Tuah, Acting Chief of Staff, RBLF. Also present during the ceremony were officers from RBLF Headquarters and instructors.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of surah Al-Fatihah followed by the RBLF pledge. The ceremony continued with the course summary, presentation of certificates to the course participants and the speech by the guest of honour. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of doa.
The Best Student for Physical went to Private Ahmad Yazid bin Awang Hidup. The Best Student for Practical was awarded to Private Abdul Raimi Ajwad bin Matali while the Best Student for Theory went to Private Ahmad Mursyidi bin Noor Ahmadi. The Overall Best Student was awarded to Private Ahmad Yazid bin Awang Hidup.
The course serves to prepare and provide exposure to the course participants on the duties, roles and responsibilities as infantrymen in the RBLF.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS LANJUTAN INFANTERI BAGI LEPASAN REKRUT PENGAMBILAN 163
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Khamis, 20 Jun 2019 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Lanjutan Infantri bagi Lepasan Rekrut Pengambilan ke 163 telah dikendalikan oleh Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) di Rumah Masak Perkhemahan Lumut. Seramai 165 anggota mengikuti kursus yang telah dijalankan dari 13 Mei 2019 hingga 20 Jun 2019.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Yang Mulia Leftenan Kolonel Tamin bin Tuah, Pemangku Ketua Staf Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut adalah pegawai-pegawai TDDB dan jurulatih kursus.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan surah Al-Fatihah dan bacaan ikrar TDDB. Majlis diteruskan dengan rumusan kursus, penyampaian sijil kepada peserta kursus dan ucapan dari Tetamu Kehormat. Majlis disudahi dengan doa penutup.
Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Jasmani disandang oleh Soldadu Ahmad Yazid bin Awang Hidup, Penuntut Terbaik Praktikal dirai oleh Soldadu Abdul Raimi Ajwad bin Matali, dan Penuntut Terbaik Teori disandang oleh Soldadu Ahmad Mursyidi bin Noor Ahmadi. Manakala Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan disandang oleh Soldadu Ahmad Yazid bin Awang Hidup.
Kursus ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan dan memberikan pendedahan kepada peserta kursus secara lebih dekat lagi bagi tugas-tugas sebagai seorang anggota infantri dan secara am tugas anggota TDDB.
