LUMUT CAMP, Friday, 27 January 2023 – Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) successfully held a Section Competition as the final challenge to mark the completion of the Advanced Infantry Course for Intake 169 today at the Lumut Camp. The five-week course was organised by 3Bn RBLF which took place from 27 December 2022 until 27 January 2023.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF. Also present during the ceremony were officers and personnel of 3Bn RBLF.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of prizes for the competition. The champion for the Section Competition went to Platoon 13, Section 1 from 3Bn RBLF, while the runner-up went to Platoon 14, Section 3 of the Royal Guard Regiment RBLF and third place went to Platoon 13, Section 3 from 3Bn RBLF. Meanwhile, the champion for the individual category was Private Md Ali Saifullah bin Haji Md Alisam from Platoon 10, runner-up won by Private Md Hadif Naqiuddin bin Saiful Hassan from Platoon 14 and third place won by Private Abdul Hakim bin Hassan from Platoon 11.
It continued with the official closing speech by the Guest of Honour and concluded with the recitation of Closing Doa and a group photo session.
The course serves to prepare and provide exposure to the course participants on the duties, roles and responsibilities as infantrymen in the RBLF.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS LANJUTAN INFANTRI PENGAMBILAN KE-169
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Jumaat, 27 Januari 2023 – Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) telah berjaya mengendalikan Perlawanan Seksyen sebagai cabaran terakhir melambangkan tamatnya Kursus Lanjutan Infantri bagi Pengambilan ke-169 pada hari ini bertempat di Perkhemahan Lumut. Kursus selama lima minggu tersebut merupakan anjuran 3Bn TDDB dan telah diadakan bermula 27 Disember 2022 hingga 27 Januari 2023.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB. Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai dan anggota dari 3Bn TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan penyampaian hadiah kepada para pemenang bagi perlawanan tersebut. Johan bagi Perlawanan Seksyen telah disandang oleh Platun 13, Seksyen 1 dari 3Bn TDDB. Manakala, naib johan disandang oleh Platun 14, Seksyen 3 dari Rejimen Pengawal Diraja TDDB, dan tempat ketiga disandang oleh Platun 13, Seksyen 3 dari 3Bn TDDB. Sementara itu, Johan bagi kategori individu disandang oleh Soldadu Md Ali Saifullah bin Haji Md Alisam daripada Platun 10, diikuti dengan Soldadu Md Hadif Naqiuddin bin Saiful Hassan daripada Platun 14 selaku naib johan, dan tempat ketiga disandang oleh Soldadu Abdul Hakim bin Hassan daripada Platun 11.
Majlis diteruskan dengan ucapan penutup oleh Tetamu Kehormat dan diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Penutup dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Kursus ini sememangnya bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan dan memberikan pendedahan kepada peserta kursus secara lebih dekat lagi bagi tugas-tugas sebagai seorang anggota infantri serta tugas sebagai anggota TDDB.
