LUMUT CAMP, Thursday, 31 December 2020 – Third Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) successfully held a closing ceremony for the Advanced Infantry Course for Intake 166 who recently completed their recruit training at the Cookhouse 3Bn RBLF, Lumut Camp. A total of 109 personnel completed the course which took place from 8 December until 31 December 2020. The course was conducted by C Company, 3Bn RBLF with the support of instructors from First Battalion RBLF (1Bn RBLF), Second Battalion RBLF (2Bn RBLF) and Third Battalion RBLF (3Bn RBLF).
Present as the guest of honour was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammad Alimin bin Haji Subohi, Commanding Officer 3Bn RBLF. Also present during the ceremony were officers and instructors from respective RBLF Battalions.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the RBLF pledge. It continued with the presentation of badges to the course participants and the speech by the guest of honour. In his speech, the guest of honour emphasised on the importance of preparedness and readiness as Infantrymen in the RBLF and to share any problems and grievances by using proper channels through their respective officers. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat and a group photo session.
The course serves to prepare and provide exposure to the course participants on the duties, roles and responsibilities as infantrymen in the RBLF.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS LANJUTAN INFANTRI BAGI LEPASAN REKRUT PENGAMBILAN 166
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Khamis, 31 Disember 2020 – Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) dengan jayanya telah mengadakan Majlis Penutup Kursus Lanjutan Infantri bagi Lepasan Rekrut Pengambilan ke-166 bertempat di Rumah Masak, Perkhemahan Lumut. Seramai 109 anggota telah menamatkan kursus berkenaan bermula 8 hingga 31 Disember 2020. Kursus ini dikendalikan oleh Kompeni C 3Bn TDDB dengan bantuan jurulatih-jurulatih daripada Batalion Pertama TDDB, Batalion Kedua TDDB dan Batalion Ketiga TDDB.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammad Alimin bin Haji Subohi, Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB. Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai dan jurulatih-jurulatih kursus daripada setiap batalion yang terlibat.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan bacaan ikrar dari para peserta kursus. Majlis diteruskan lagi dengan penyampaian lencana kepada anggota-anggota yang telah menamatkan kursus tersebut dan diikuti dengan ucapan daripada tetamu kehormat. Melalui ucapan beliau, tetamu kehormat telah menyampaikan beberapa nasihat bermanfaat iaitu pentingnya setiap anggota tentera untuk sentiasa bersiap sedia dan juga mengingatkan agar segala permasalahan dan kesukaran yang dihadapi untuk disalurkan kepada pegawai masing-masing dalam menjaga kebajikan mereka. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan doa selamat dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Kursus ini sememangnya bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan dan memberikan pendedahan kepada peserta kursus secara lebih dekat lagi bagi tugas-tugas sebagai seorang anggota infantri serta tugas sebagai anggota TDDB.
