PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday 11 February 2021 – Signal Squadron (Sig Sqn) CSS RBLF today held a closing ceremony for the RBLF Watchkeeper Course. The ceremony took place at the Sp Bn RBLF Dining Hall, Penanjong Garrison. Present as the Guest of Honour was the RBLF Acting Chief of Staff, Lieutenant Colonel Haji Rony Zai bin Haji Zaini. A total of 30 RBLF personnel attended the three weeks course which began from 22 January 2021 until 11 February 2021.
The Watchkeeper Course aimed to provide participants with the knowledge and understanding of performing the necessary task in an Operation Room as a Junior Watchkeeper. One of the objectives of the course is to develop the individual self-confidence in taking action on the message received using Proforma Message Form. The course also provides the participants with experience and the ability to deliver operation brief and the setting up of a Command Post.

PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis 11 Februari 2021 – Skuadron Semboyan (Skn Smbyn) KBK TDDB hari ini telah mengadakan majlis penutup bagi Kursus
Watchkeeper bagi TDDB. Majlis berlangsung di Dewan Makan Bn Bantu TDDB, Penanjong Garison. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Rony Zai Bin Haji Zaini, Pemangku Ketua Staf TDDB. Seramai 30 anggota TDDB telah menghadiri kursus tersebut yang telah dikendalikan selama tiga minggu yang bermula pada 22 Januari 2021 hingga 11 Februari 2021.
Melalui Kursus Watchkeeper, peserta telah diberikan pengetahuan dan kefahaman dalam mengendalikan tugas di Bilik Gerakan sebagai seorang
Junior Watchkeeper. Antara salah satu objektif kursus ini adalah untuk memberi keyakinan kepada perserta dalam menerima berita menggunakan Borang
Profoma Message. Disamping itu, kursus ini juga memberikan peserta pendedahan dalam menyampaikan taklimat gerakan dan kemahiran dalam mendirikan
Command Post.
