PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 11 March 2022 – The closing ceremony for the Range Management Course Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RMC RBAF) Series 1/2022 was held today at the School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. The course which was organised by SOI RBLF was an 8-week course that took place from 13 January 2022 until 11 March 2022.
Present as the guest of honour was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Airol Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Commanding Officer of SOI RBLF. Also present during the ceremony was Senior officers, officers and personnel from RBAF.
A total of 38 participants attended the RMC RBAF Series 1/2022 consisting of 07 participants from RBLF, 09 participants from Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), 08 participants from Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), 03 participants from the Ministry of Defence (MinDef), 04 participants from Training Institute RBAF (TI RBAF), 04 participants from Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) and 03 participants from Special Force Regiment (SFR).
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a welcoming speech by Captain Pg Abd Malek bin Pg Haji Bidin, Head of Department, Small Arms and Support Weapon, SOI RBLF. The event continued with the presentation of certificates by the guest of honour to all course members as well as the presentation of awards.
The Best Student Award was awarded to Sergeant Nurul Suriyana binti Haji Serbini from RBLF. The Best Practical Award was awarded to Lieutenant Mohd Samsul bin Awg Rosman,RBN from RBN and the Best Theory Award was awarded to Captain Ladyanna binti Mohd Morshidi from RBLF. The ceremony continued with the official closing speech by the guest of honour and concluded with the recitation of Closing Doa and a group photo.
The objective of the course was to fulfil RBLF’s intent to produce knowledgeable and high calibre personnel. As one of the mandatory courses that must be attended by Officers and Senior Ranks of the RBAF, this course also aims to increase the skills and knowledge of the personnel in range management.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS PENYELIA DAN PENGAWAS PADANG TEMBAK PERINGKAT ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI SIRI 01/2022
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 11 Mac 2022 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Penyelia dan Pengawas Padang Tembak Peringkat Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) Siri 1/2022 telah diadakan di Sekolah Infantri Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB), Penanjong Garison. Kursus tersebut telah dikendalikan oleh SI TDDB dan berlangsung selama 08 minggu bermula dari 13 Januari 2022 sehingga 11 Mac 2022.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Airol Wizam bin Hj Ahmad, Pegawai Pemerintah SI TDDB. Turut hadir pada majlis tersebut ialah Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota ABDB.
Seramai 38 orang anggota telah menghadiri kursus tersebut yang terdiri daripada 07 anggota dari TDDB, 09 anggota dari Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB), 08 anggota dari Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), 03 anggota dari Kementerian Pertahanan (KEMENTAH), 04 anggota dari Institut Latihan ABDB (IL ABDB), 04 anggota dari Markas Angkatan Bersama (MAB) dan 03 anggota dari Rejimen Pasukan Khas (RPK).
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan ucapan alu-aluan yang disampaikan oleh Kapten Pg Abd Malek bin Pg Haji Bidin, Ketua Jabatan Cawangan Latihan Senjata Ringan dan Berat, SI TDDB. Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil oleh tetamu kehormat kepada penuntut-penuntut kursus dan penyampaian anugerah.
Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan disandang oleh Sarjan Nurul Suriyana binti Haji Serbini daripada TDDB. Manakala, anugerah Terbaik Teori disandang oleh Leftenan Mohd Samsul bin Awg Rosman, TLDB daripada TLDB dan anugerah bagi Terbaik Amali disandang oleh Kapten Ladyanna binti Mohd Morshidi daripada TDDB. Majlis diteruskan dengan penutupan rasmi oleh tetamu kehormat dan diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Penutup dan bergambar ramai.
Objektif utama kursus adalah untuk merealisasikan hasrat TDDB untuk melahirkan anggota yang berilmu pengetahuan serta berkaliber tinggi. Sebagai salah satu kursus mandatori yang mesti dihadiri oleh Pegawai-pegawai dan Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah Kanan (PTB) ABDB, kursus ini juga bertujuan untuk mempertingkatkan nilai tambah ilmu pengetahuan di dalam bidang penyeliaan dan pengurusan padang tembak.
