PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 6 July 2023 – The closing ceremony of the Drill Instructor Course Series 1/2023 was held this afternoon at the Lecture Room, School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. A total of 25 participants have completed the course consisting of 14 personnel from RBLF, three personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), four personnel from the Royal Brunei Air Force, two personnel from the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces and two personnel from the Internal Security Department. The course took place from 11 May 2023 to 6 July 2023, which was conducted by the Drill Instructor Wing, SI RBLF.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of SOI RBLF. Also present were senior officers, invited guests, School Sergeant Major, Company Sergeant Majors, Head of Training Branches and Trainers.
The Best Student Award in Theory was awarded to Leading Hand Pg Muhd Matin @ Pg Abd Hadi bin Pg Matzin from RBN, the Best Student Award in Practical was awarded to Corporal Md Sariyan bin Abd Razak from Support Battalion RBLF, and the Overall Best Student was awarded to Leading Hand Muhd Aziziee bin Buhanuddin from RBN.
This is a mandatory course especially for the Infantry Battalions of RBLF who carry the rank of sergeant to private. This course serves to qualify the participants to become skilled and knowledgeable drill instructors.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS JURULATIH KAWAD SIRI 1/2023
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 6 Julai 2023 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Jurulatih Kawad Siri 1/2023 telah diadakan pada petang ini bertempat di Bilik Syarahan, Sekolah Infantri Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB), Penanjong Garison. Seramai 25 anggota telah menamatkan kursus tersebut yang terdiri daripada 14 anggota TDDB, tiga anggota dari Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB), empat anggota dari Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei, dua anggota dari Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei dan dua anggota dari Jabatan Keselamatan Dalam Negeri. Kursus Jurulatih Kawad telah berlangsung pada 11 Mei 2023 hingga 6 Julai 2023 yang dikendalikan oleh Cawangan Latihan Kawad, SI TDDB.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Pegawai Pemerintah SI TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis berkenaan ialah Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, jemputan – jemputan khas, Sekolah Sarjan Mejar, Kompeni Sarjan Mejar, Ketua – Ketua Cawangan dan jurulatih-jurulatih yang terlibat.
Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Bahagian Teori disandang oleh Laskar Kanan Pg Muhd Matin @ Pg Abd Hadi bin Pg Matzin dari TLDB, Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Bahagian Amali disandang oleh Kopral Md Sariyan bin Abd Razak dari unit Batalion Bantu TDDB, dan Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan disandang oleh Laskar Kanan Muhd Aziziee bin Buhanuddin dari unit TLDB.
Kursus ini merupakan salah satu kursus mandatori yang perlu dihadiri oleh anggota batalion infantri berpangkat sarjan hingga pangkat soldadu. Ia juga bertujuan untuk melayakkan peserta kursus menjadi jurulatih yang berkemahiran dan berpengetahuan dalam hal ehwal kawad.
