TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 14 January 2022 – Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) held the Closing Ceremony for the Advanced Infantry Course of Intake 167 held at Ar-Rizq Hall, Tutong Camp.
Present as the guest of honour was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammad Ezan Sazali bin Haji Osman, Commanding Officer of 2Bn RBLF.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the verse from Al-Quran by Private Md Raziq bin Haji Rosli. The event continued with a brief on the course conduct presented by Major Alimin bin Haji Ahamad, the Course Conducting Officer followed by the presentation of certificates to the personnel who have successfully completed the course.
The Best Overall award and the Best Practical award were awarded to Private Md Amirul Za’im bin Zulkifli, while the Best Theory award was awarded to Private Muhammad Khalid Firdaus @ Akmal bin Haji Dzolkiplly. The event continued with the speech and official closing of the course by the guest of honour. The event concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat and a group photo session.
A total of 120 personnel successfully attended the course which was conducted for five weeks from 13 December 2021 to 14 January 2022.
The course was conducted to provide exposure, to attain experience for the duties as an infantry unit as well as a platform to adapt to work within RBLF units.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS LANJUTAN INFANTRI PENGAMBILAN KE-167
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Jumaat, 14 Januari 2022 – Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penutup Kursus Lanjutan Infantri bagi Pengambilan ke-167 bertempat di Dewan Ar-Rizq, Perkhemahan Tutong.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammad Ezan Sazali bin Haji Osman, Pegawai Pemerintah 2Bn TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Ayat suci Al-Quran yang dibacakan oleh Soldadu Md Raziq bin Haji Rosli. Acara seterusnya diteruskan dengan rumusan pencapaian kursus yang disampaikan oleh Mejar Alimin bin Haji Ahamad, Pegawai Pengendali Kursus diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil kepada anggota-anggota yang telah berjaya menamatkan kursus tersebut.
Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan dan anugerah Terbaik Amali disandang oleh Soldadu Md Amirul Za’im bin Zulkifli. Manakala anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Teori pula diraih oleh Soldadu Muhammad Khalid Firdaus @ Akmal bin Haji Dzolkiplly. Acara diteruskan dengan ucapan dan penutupan rasmi kursus yang disampaikan oleh tetamu kehormat majlis. Acara diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Seramai 120 anggota telah berjaya mengikuti kursus tersebut yang diadakan selama lima minggu bermula daripada 13 Disember 2021 hingga 14 Januari 2022.
Tujuan kursus ini dijalankan ialah sebagai pendedahan, memberikan pengalaman secara lebih dekat lagi tugas-tugas sebagai seorang anggota infantri dan sebagai platform penyesuaian diri bertugas di dalam unit-unit TDDB.
