PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 27 July 2023 – The closing ceremony for the Small Arms Instructor Course Series 1/2023 was held today at the Cookhouse, Support Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. This course took place from 4 May 2023 until 27 July 2023 and was attended by a total of 39 participants from various units.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer, School of Infantry (SOI) RBLF. Also present were officers and personnel from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Royal Brunei Police Force, Narcotic Control Bureau and the Prisons Department.
The ceremony commenced with Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the recitation of Al-Quran, Surah Mujadalah verses 11-13, and the course review delivered by Lieutenant Awangku Muhammad Faiq bin Pengiran Haji Omar, Acting Head of Department, Small Arms and Heavy Weapons Training Wing, SOI RBLF. It continued with the presentation of badges, certificates along with the awards for outstanding achievements in all areas of assessment which includes practical and theory.
The Best Practical Award was awarded to Corporal Anuar bin Mustapa. Meanwhile, the Best Theory Award went to Muhammad Fadzil Ehsan bin Abdul Alyan and Best Overall Award went to Corporal Mohammad Nadzri @ Hairun bin Husin.
The ceremony concluded with the closing remarks from the Guest of Honour, followed by the Closing Doa and a group photo session.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS JURULATIH KEMAHIRAN DAN PENGASUH SENJATA RINGAN SIRI 1/2023
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 27 Julai 2023 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Jurulatih Kemahiran dan Pengasuh Senjata Ringan Siri 1/2023 telah dikendalikan pada hari ini di Rumah Masak, Batalion Bantu Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Penanjong Garison. Seramai 39 peserta kursus dari pelbagai unit berjaya lulus bagi kursus berkenaan yang bermula pada 4 Mei 2023 hingga 27 Julai 2023.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Pegawai Pemerintah Sekolah Infantri (SI) TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-Pegawai dan anggota Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei, Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei, Biro Kawalan Narkotik dan Jabatan Penjara.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan bacaan ayat-ayat suci Al-Quran iaitu Surah Mujadalah ayat 11-13, dan penyampaian ulasan kursus daripada Leftenan Awangku Muhammad Faiq bin Pengiran Haji Omar, Pemangku Ketua Cawangan, Cawangan Latihan Senjata Ringan dan Berat, SI TDDB. Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian lencana, sijil dan anugerah-anugerah cemerlang di setiap aspek penilaian yang merangkumi bidang amali dan teori.
Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Amali disandang oleh Kopral Anuar bin Mustapa. Selain itu, Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Teori disandang oleh Muhammad Fadzil Ehsan bin Abdul Alyan, dan Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan disandang oleh Korperal Mohammad Nadzri @ Hairun bin Husin.
Majlis diakhiri dengan ucapan penutup daripada Tetamu Kehormat, diikuti dengan bacaan Doa Penutup dan sesi bergambar ramai.
