BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 31 December 2020 – The closing ceremony for the Medical Assistant Advance Course for the year 2020 took place at MRS Bolkiah Complex. A total of 14 personnel participated in the course comprised from Medical Receptionist Service (MRS), Combat Service Support, Royal Brunei Land Force (CSS RBLF) and Performance Optimisation Centre (POC).
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel (Dr) Haji Awang Md Hafizul bin Haji Awang Hassan, Chief Medical Officer. Also present at the ceremony were Medical Administrative Officers, instructors who were involved in the course, as well as representatives from the Emergency Department (ED) and Emergency Medical Ambulance Services (EMAS) Ministry of Health.
The 13-weeks course started on 05 October 2020 until 31 December 2020 which also included attachment at the Emergency Department (ED) and Emergency Medical Ambulance Services (EMAS) Ministry of Health from 30 November 2020 until 21 December 2020.
The closing ceremony ended with the presentation of certificates and presentation of awards by the Guest of Honour. The ‘Overall Best Student Award’ went to Corporal Marrio bin Prait from MRS, CSS RBLF.
The Medical Assistant Advance Course is aimed to equip the advance medical assistants with the necessary knowledge and skills in order for the participants to assume the tasks and responsibilities as a Senior Medical Assistant or a Senior Medic. It also serves to provide the participants with the opportunity to gain and learn new knowledge and skills in treating and managing patients in both pre-hospital and hospital setting.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS LANJUTAN PEMBANTU PERUBATAN BAGI TAHUN 2020
BOLKIAH GARISON, Khamis, 31 Disember 2020 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Lanjutan Pembantu Perubatan bagi tahun 2020 telah diadakan di Kompleks MRS Bolkiah. Seramai 14 anggota telah menamatkan Kursus Lanjutan Pembantu Perubatan tersebut yang mana peserta-peserta kursus berkenaan terdiri daripada anggota-anggota dari Pusat Khidmat Perubatan & Kesihatan, Khidmat Bantuan Kombat, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (KBK TDDB) dan Pusat Optima Kecergasan Tentera (POKT).
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat adalah Kolonel (Dr) Haji Awang Md Hafizul bin Haji Awang Hassan, Ketua Pegawai Perubatan. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Pegawai Pentadbir Perubatan, Jurulatih-Jurulatih yang terlibat semasa kursus tersebut serta wakil daripada Jabatan Kecemasan dan Perkhidmatan Kecemasan Ambulan Perubatan, Kementerian Kesihatan.
Kursus ini telah diadakan selama 13 minggu bermula pada 05 Oktober 2020 hingga 31 Disember 2020, yang mana turut merangkumi penempatan di Jabatan Kecemasan dan Perkhidmatan Kecemasan Ambulan Perubatan, Kementerian Kesihatan dari 30 November 2020 hingga 21 Disember 2020.
Majlis diakhiri dengan penyampaian sijil dan anugerah yang disampaikan oleh Tetamu Kehormat. Anugerah ‘Overall Best Student’ disandang oleh Korporal Marrio bin Prait dari Pusat Khidmat Perubatan & Kesihatan, KBK TDDB.
Kursus Lanjutan Pembantu Perubatan tersebut bertujuan untuk melengkapkan pembantu perubatan lanjutan dengan pengetahuan dan kemahiran yang diperlukan agar para peserta memikul tugas dan tanggungjawab sebagai Pembantu Perubatan Kanan atau Perubatan Kanan. Selain itu, ia juga memberikan para peserta peluang untuk memperoleh dan mempelajari pengetahuan dan kemahiran baru dalam merawat dan menguruskan pesakit di persekitaran pra-hospital dan hospital.
