PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 06 Oktober 2022– The closing ceremony of the Combat Engineer Recce Sergeant Course 2022 was held today at the Cookhouse of Support Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Force (Sp Bn RBLF). The nine-week course was held from 08 August 2022 until 06 October 2022, attended by 18 participants from Sp Bn RBLF and one personnel from Third Battalion RBLF.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel Rudie Asmawi bin Hj Abidin, Commanding Officer of Sp Bn RBLF. Also present was Officers and the personnel of Sp Bn RBLF.
The closing ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the certificate presentations to all of participants. The Overall Best Student Award was awarded to Corporal Amirsafwan bin Hj Mohd Diah from Combat Engineer Squadron Sp Bn RBLF.
The ceremony continued with a closing speech by the Guest of Honour where he emphasised that the knowledge and experience which the course’s participants acquired during the course should be utilised to further enhance their skills in the field of combat engineer and reminded them that they are part of the driving force of the organisation in their respective troop. The ceremony then concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat followed with a light refreshment and group photo.
The objectives of the course serves to provide skills to execute detailed combat engineer recce and provide a comprehensive report prior to the implemented task. It also provided exposure to the course participants on how to present a tactical brief to their superiors.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS SARJAN TINJAU JURUTERA TEMPUR SESI 2022
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 06 Oktober 2022 – Majlis penutup Kursus Sarjan Tinjau Jurutera Tempur Sesi 2022 telah diadakan pada hari ini bertempat di Rumah Masak Batalion Bantu Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (Bn Bntu TDDB). Kursus selama sembilan minggu itu telah berlangsung dari 08 Ogos 2022 hingga 06 Oktober 2022 yang dihadiri oleh 18 orang anggota dari Bn Bntu TDDB dan seorang anggota dari Batalion Ketiga TDDB.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Rudie Asmawi bin Hj Abidin, Pegawai Pemerintah, Bn Bntu TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota Bn Bntu TDDB.
Majlis penutup dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil kepada peserta-peserta kursus. Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan bagi kursus ini disandang oleh Koperal Amirsafwan bin Hj Mohd Diah dari Skuadron Jurutera Tempur Bn Bntu TDDB.
Acara diteruskan lagi dengan ucapan daripada Tetamu Kehormat dimana beliau menekankan supaya ilmu dan pengalaman yang baru sahaja peserta-peserta kursus perolehi akan dapat dimanfaatkan dengan sebaik mungkin bagi meningkatkan lagi pencapaian dalam menguasai kemahiran di dalam bidang jurutera tempur di samping mengingatkan bahawa mereka merupakan nadi pengerak yang penting dalam organisasi sebuah terup mahupun dalam sebuah skuadron. Majlis kemudian diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat diikuti dengan menikmati jamuan serta bergambar ramai.
Adapun objektif kursus ini adalah untuk memberikan peserta kursus kemahiran untuk melaksanakan tugas tinjauan jurutera dengan terperinci dan memberikan laporan selapas tinjauan yang lengkap sebelum tugas dilaksanakan. Disamping itu, kursus ini juga mendedahkan kepada peserta kursus tatacara penyampaian taklimat diperingkat taktikal kepada pihak atasan.
