LUMUT CAMP, Wednesday, 30 September 2020
– The closing ceremony for Intermediate A2 Armoured Personnel Carrier Course took place at the Cookhouse Hall, Lumut Camp. Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel Rudie Asmawi bin Abidin, Commanding Officer of Support Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Force (Sp Bn RBLF).
Upon arrival, the Guest of Honour was received by Major Fakhrul Ammar bin Haji Mohammad Isa, Third Battalion Second-in-Command. The course was attended by 39 RBLF personnel from First Battalion of RBLF (1Bn RBLF), Second Battalion of RBLF (2Bn RBLF) and Third Battalion of RBLF (3Bn RBLF). The Overall Best prize went to Lance Corporal Abd Mujid bin Johari from 3Bn RBLF.
The ceremony continued with a speech given by the Guest of Honour. In his speech, he reminded to all participants to carry out their responsibility and to develop their skills and knowledge which they gained from the course. He also emphasised that this should be utilised to further practicing their daily tasks with safety aspects and precaution while using RBLF assets.
The ceremony ended with a recitation of ‘Doa Selamat’ led by Lance Corporal Azimie bin Mat Usop and light refreshment.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KERETA ANGKUT PERISAI (KAP) KURSUS PERTENGAHAN
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Rabu, 30 September 2020 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Pertengahan A2 Kereta Angkut Perisai telah berlangsung di Dewan Rumah Masak, Perkhemahan Lumut. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Rudie Asmawi bin Abidin, Pegawai Pemerintah Batalion Bantu Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB).
Sejurus ketibaan, Tetamu Kehormat telah disambut oleh Mejar Fakhrul Ammar bin Haji Mohammad Isa, Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah Batalion Ketiga TDDB. Seramai 39 anggota TDDB dari Batalion Pertama TDDB (1Bn TDDB), Batalion Kedua TDDB (2Bn TDDB) dan Batalion Ketiga TDDB (3Bn TDDB) telah menghadiri Kursus Pertengahan A2 Kereta Angkut Perisai. Lans Koperal Abd Mujid bin Johari dari 3Bn TDDB telah dianugerahkan sebagai Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan bagi kursus ini.
Majlis diteruskan lagi dengan ucapan daripada Tetamu Kehormat. Melalui ucapan tersebut, beliau mengingatkan dan menekankan kepada para peserta kursus supaya menanai tanggungjawab masing-masing dan mempertingkatkan lagi ilmu pengetahuan dan kemahiran yang diperolehi dari kursus berkenaan. Beliau turut menekankan agar ianya dimanfaatkan dengan sebaiknya dalam melatihkan dan sentiasa mengambil kira kesemua aspek keselamatan dan langkah berjaga-jaga dalam tugas harian semasa menggunakan aset-aset TDDB.
Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan ‘Doa Selamat’ yang dipimpin oleh Lans Koperal Azimie bin Mat Usop dan menikmati jamuan.
