BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 4th October 2024 – The Dental Services Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held certificates presentation for the Portable Dental Unit (PDU), Dental Foundation Training Programme and the Basic Dental Surgery Assistant Course at the Dental Services RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison. In attendance to present the certificates was Colonel Dr Jefri bin Hj Abdul Razak, Chief Dental Services RBLF.
A total of one civilian Dental Officer and 10 personnel received the PDU certificate, a course which was conducted from 30th September until 4th October 2024 by the RBLF Dental Services Training Cell. Meanwhile, Doctor Nurhazimah Faizah binti Abdul Rahim, Muara Naval Base Civilian Dental Officer also received certificate upon completion a year Dental Foundation Training Programme Course and Private Muhamad Fikri bin Masdi for completing the Basic Dental Surgery Assistant Course.
These courses are aimed to equip RBLF dental services officers and personnel with knowledge and skills related to the conduct of dental services such as deployment procedures, personal management, safe handling of portable dental equipment, infection and radiation control as well as field dentistry. Pahlawan Taring V Exercise has also been carried out on 3th to 4th October 2024, where PDU course participants established a Deployment Shelter System and conducted annual dental check-ups for 41 personnel.
PENYAMPAIAN SIJIL BAGI KURSUS-KURSUS PERGIGIAN
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 04 Oktober 2024 – Khidmat Pergigian Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan penyampaian sijil bagi Kursus Unit Pergigian Bergerak (UPB), Program Latihan Asas Pergigian dan Kursus Asas Pembantu Bilik Rawatan bertempat di Markas Khidmat Pergigian TDDB, Berakas Garison. Hadir bagi menyampaikan sijil tersebut ialah Kolonel Dr Jefri bin Haji Abdul Razak, Ketua Khidmat Pergigian TDDB.
Seramai seorang Pegawai Awam Pergigian dan 10 anggota telah menerima sijil UPB, iaitu kursus yang dijalankan dari 30 September hingga 4 Oktober 2024 oleh Sel Latihan Khidmat Pergigian TDDB. Sementara itu, Doktor Nurhazimah Faizah binti Abdul Rahim, Pegawai Awam Pergigian Pangkalan Tentera Laut Muara juga turut menerima sijil setelah menamatkan Kursus Program Latihan Asas Pergigian selama setahun dan Soldadu Muhamad Fikri bin Masdi menamatkan Kursus Asas Pembantu Bilik Rawatan.
Kursus-kursus ini adalah bertujuan untuk melengkapkan pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota Khidmat Pergigian TDDB dengan pengetahuan dan kemahiran berkaitan dengan perlaksanaan khidmat pergigian seperti prosedur kerahan, pengurusan anggota, pengendalian peralatan pergigian mudah alih yang selamat, kawalan jangkitan dan radiasi serta perlaksanaan khidmat pergigian di medan. Eksesais Pahlawan Taring V juga telah dilaksanakan pada 3 hingga 4 Oktober 2024, di mana peserta kursus UPB telah menubuhkan Deployment Shelter System dan menjalankan pemeriksaan pergigian tahunan bagi 41 anggota tentera.
