BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 4th September 2026 – Dental Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), held a certificate presentation ceremony for the Portable Dental Unit (PDU) Course, Basic Dental Surgery Assistant Course and Dental Induction Course at Dental Services, RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison. The ceremony was officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Dr Hajah Norinda binti Haji Tengah, Acting Chief Dental Services, RBLF.
A total of 3 officers and 16 personnel received certificates upon successfully completing the respective courses. The PDU Course, conducted from 31st August to 4th September 2026, consisted of 16 participants, comprising 3 officers, 12 personnel from Dental Services and 1 personnel from the Medical and Dental Technical Support Group (MDTSG), Technical Engineering Maintenance Division (TEMD). The 3 officers comprised 1 officer from Dental Services and 2 officers from Logistic Depot, Combat Service Support RBLF.
Meanwhile, the Basic Dental Surgery Assistant Course, conducted from 27th April to 26th August 2026, was completed by two Dental Services personnel, while the Dental Induction Course, conducted from 27th to 28th August 2026, was completed by one Dental Services personnel.
The courses aimed to equip officers and personnel with the knowledge and skills required to support dental services, including deployment procedures, personnel management, safe handling of portable dental equipment, infection and radiation control, as well as the provision of dental services in the field.
PENYAMPAIAN SIJIL BAGI KURSUS-KURSUS PERGIGIAN
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 4 September 2026 – Khidmat Pergigian, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), telah mengadakan majlis penyampaian sijil bagi Kursus Unit Pergigian Bergerak (PDU), Kursus Asas Pembantu Bilik Rawatan Pergigian dan Kursus Pengenalan Pergigian di Khidmat Pergigian, Markas TDDB, Berakas Garison. Majlis tersebut telah disempurnakan oleh Leftenan Kolonel Dr Hajah Norinda binti Haji Tengah, Pemangku Ketua Khidmat Pergigian, TDDB.
Seramai 3 pegawai dan 16 anggota telah menerima sijil setelah berjaya menamatkan kursus masing-masing. Kursus Unit Pergigian Bergerak (PDU) yang dilaksanakan dari 31 Ogos hingga 4 September 2026, terdiri daripada 16 peserta, iaitu 3 pegawai, 12 anggota daripada Khidmat Pergigian dan 1 anggota daripada Medical and Dental Technical Support Group (MDTSG), Technical Engineering Maintenance Division (TEMD). 3 pegawai tersebut terdiri daripada 1 pegawai Khidmat Pergigian dan 2 pegawai dari Depoh Logistik, Khidmat Bantuan Kombat TDDB.
Sementara itu, Kursus Asas Pembantu Bilik Rawatan Pergigian yang berlangsung dari 27 April hingga 26 Ogos 2026 telah disertai oleh dua anggota Khidmat Pergigian, manakala Kursus Pengenalan Pergigian yang dilaksanakan dari 27 hingga 28 Ogos 2026 telah disertai oleh seorang anggota Khidmat Pergigian.
Kursus-kursus tersebut bertujuan untuk melengkapkan para pegawai dan anggota dengan pengetahuan serta kemahiran yang diperlukan bagi menyokong perkhidmatan pergigian, termasuk prosedur penugasan, pengurusan anggota, pengendalian peralatan pergigian mudah alih secara selamat, kawalan jangkitan dan radiasi serta penyediaan perkhidmatan pergigian di medan.
