PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 04th September 2026 – The closing ceremony for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosive (CBRE) Pioneer Course Session 2026 was held at the Lecture Theatre, School of Engineers, Combined Arms Training Centre, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOE CATC RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. A total of seven participants, comprising personnel from the Second Squadron, Engineer Regiment, RBLF (2Sqn Engr Regt RBLF) successfully completed the course. The course was conducted by the Specialist Engineer Wing, SOE CATC RBLF, over a period of 13 weeks, from 8th June 2026 to 4th September 2026.
The ceremony was officiated by Major Nur Shazeerah binti Radinkanoro, Officer Commanding of SOE CATC RBLF. The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a course review, the presentation of certificates and awards, and closing remarks by the Officer Commanding of SOE CATC RBLF.
The Overall Best Student Award and the Best Chemical, Biological and Radiological Disposal (CBRD) Phase Award were presented to Lance Corporal Jailani bin Mohammad, and the Best Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) Phase Award was awarded to Corporal Shariff Pudin bin Haji Mohd Salleh of 2Sqn Engr Regt RBLF.
The course aimed to enhance the participants’ competencies and capabilities in carrying out their duties covering the elements of CBRD and IEDD as Pioneers and IEDD No. 3 personnel respectively, while strengthening their understanding of their roles and responsibilities at team and section level in responding to Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) threats. The course also emphasised the application of the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to ensure that tasks are carried out professionally, effectively and safely, in accordance with established Tactics, Technics and Procedures (TTPs).
ACARA PENUTUP KURSUS CBRE PIONEER SESI 2026
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 04 September 2026 – Acara Penutup Kursus Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosive (CBRE) Pioneer Sesi 2026 telah berlangsung di Bilik Kuliah, Sekolah Jurutera, Pusat Latihan Gabungan Tempur, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SJ PULGAT TDDB), Penanjong Garison. Seramai tujuh orang peserta yang terdiri daripada anggota-anggota Skuadron Kedua, Rejimen Jurutera, TDDB (2Skn RJ TDDB) telah berjaya menamatkan kursus tersebut. Kursus tersebut telah dikendalikan oleh Cawangan Jurutera Pakar, SJ PULGAT TDDB dan berlangsung selama 13 minggu, bermula daripada 8 Jun 2026 hingga 4 September 2026.
Acara tersebut telah disempurnakan oleh Mejar Nur Shazeerah binti Radinkanoro, Pegawai Memerintah SJ PULGAT TDDB. Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan ulasan kursus, penyampaian sijil dan anugerah serta ucapan penutup kursus oleh Pegawai Memerintah SJ PULGAT TDDB.
Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan dan Terbaik bagi Fasa Chemical, Biological and Radiological Disposal (CBRD)dianugerahkan kepada Lans Koperal Jailani bin Mohammad dan Anugerah Terbaik bagi Fasa Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) dianugerahkan kepada Koperal Shariff Pudin bin Haji Mohd Salleh.
Kursus ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan keupayaan peserta dalam melaksanakan tugas dalam bidang CBRD dan IEDD, masing-masing sebagai Pioneer dan anggota IEDD No. 3. Di samping itu, kursus ini turut memperkukuhkan kefahaman peserta mengenai peranan dan tanggungjawab mereka di peringkat tim dan seksyen dalam menghadapi ancaman Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) serta Improvised Explosive Device (IED). Kursus ini juga menekankan kepentingan pengetahuan, kemahiran dan sikap yang diperlukan bagi memastikan setiap tugasan dilaksanakan secara profesional, berkesan dan selamat, selaras dengan Taktik, Teknik dan Prosedur (TTPs) yang telah ditetapkan.
