RIMBA AIRBASE, Friday 07 December 2018 – The 2/30th Platoon Training Group from the Australian Army arrived at Rimba Airbase, Royal Brunei Airforce. The Training Group consisted of 29 personnel led by Lieutenant Mark Vincent Vele. They departed from RAAF Air Base using a C-130J Super Hercules.
The group was welcomed by Major Azaman bin Haji Hussin, the Deputy Exercise Director for Exercise Malle Bull 2018. Upon arrival, the Training Group was transported to Tutong Camp for administration and Exercise Brief at the Mini Auditorium, Second Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF).
Exercise Malle Bull will take place from 07 December until 17 December 2018 and will involve personnel from 2Bn RBLF and 2/30th Platoon Training Group, Australian Army.
The exercise will be carried out in three phases: the first phase is the administration and the Force Integration Training; the second phase is the Search and Destroy Operations and the last phase is the Administration and Recreation.
The exercise will be conducted at Kampong Benutan in vicinity of MB20.
ANGGOTA TENTERA DARAT AUSTRALIA SELAMAT TIBA UNTUK EKSESAIS MALLE BULL 2018
PENGKALAN RIMBA, Jumaat 07 Disember 2018 – Kumpulan Latihan Platun 2/30 daripada Tentera Darat Australia telah selamat tiba di Pengkalan Rimba, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei. Kumpulan Latihan itu terdiri daripada 29 anggota diketuai oleh Leftenan Mark Vincent Vele. Mereka berlepas daripada Pengkalan Tentera Udara Diraja Australia (RAAF) mengunakan pesawat C-130J Super Hercules.
Ketibaan kumpulan latihan tersebut dialu-alukan oleh Yang Mulia Mejar Azaman bin Haji Hussin, Timbalan Pengarah Latihan untuk Eksesais Malle Bull 2018. Sejurus ketibaan, rombongan dibawa ke Perkhemahan Tutong untuk pentadbiran dan taklimat eksesais yang diadakan di Auditorium Mini, Batallion Kedua, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei.
Eksesais Malle Bull 2018 akan diadakan pada 07 Disember sehingga 17 Disember 2018 dan akan disertai oleh anggota -anggota daripada 2Bn TDDB dan Kumpulan Latihan Platun 2/30, Tentera Darat Australia. Latihan ini akan dijalankan dalam tiga fasa: Fasa Pertama adalah Pentadbiran dan Force Integration Training (FIT); fasa kedua adalah Operasi Cari dan Memusnah dan fasa terakhir adalah pentadbiran dan rekreasi. Latihan ini adakan dijalankan di Kampong Benutan sekitar MB20.
