PENANJONG GARISSON, Wednesday, 07 July 2021 – Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron, Support Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (ARS Sp Bn RBLF) held the prize-giving ceremony for ARS’s Troop Test Competition for the Year 2021 at ARS Parade Square.
Present as the guest of honour for prize presentation was Lieutenant Colonel Rudie Asmawi bin Hj Abidin, the Commanding Officer of Sp Bn RBLF.
This year’s competition took place from 5 April 2021 until 9 April 2021, where 4 troops from ARS Sp Bn RBLF were involved in the competition. The competitors have been tested in several disciplines which includes Driving and Maintenance, Gunnery, Signal, Tactics, general & religious knowledge.
The winner for this year’s competition was won by No. 4 Troop, while No. 2 Troop won the first runner up and No.5 Troop won as second runner up, respectively. Whilst, the best crew category won by crew from No. 4 Troop.
Meanwhile for the individual category, the winner for the Best Crew Commander goes to Corporal Md Nurzulfadhlizal @ Tasrah bin Md Ja’afar from No.4 Troop, Best Gunner award won by Lance Corporal Mohd Amzar Izamudin bin Rahim from No.5 Troop and Lance Corporal Pg Nor Hakim bin Pg Md Karim won the Best Driver Award.
The objectives of this competition are to test the competency of the crew in the field of armor where each crew was tested both mentally and physically. Apart from that, the competition’s objectives are to develop leadership skills among the crew commanders and to cultivate the spirit of esprit de corps among the ARS Sp Bn RBLF personnel.
SKUADRON KERETA PERISAI PENINJAU MENGADAKAN MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN HADIAH BAGI PERLAWANAN ANTARA TRUP
PENANJONG GARISON, Rabu 07 Julai 2021 – Skuadron Kereta Perisai Peninjau, Batalion Bantu, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SKPP Bn Bantu TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penyampaian Hadiah Bagi Perlawanan di antara Trup bagi tahun 2021 di Padang Kawad SKPP pada pagi tadi.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat bagi Majlis Penyampaian Hadiah tersebut adalah Yang Mulia Leftenan Kolonel Rudie Asmawi bin Hj Abidin, Pegawai Pemerintah Bn Bantu TDDB.
Perlawanan di antara trup pada tahun ini telah dilaksanakan bermula dari 05 April 2021 sehingga 09 April 2021 di mana sebanyak 4 trup telah menyertai perlawanan tersebut. Sepanjang perlawanan tersebut, anggota-anggota telah di uji di dalam beberapa bidang termasuk bidang Memandu dan Memelihara, Penggunaan Senjata, Semboyan, Taktik, Pengetahuan am dan Ugama.
Juara keseluruhan bagi Perlawanan di antara Trup bagi tahun 2021 telah dimenangi oleh Trup 4, tempat kedua dimenangi oleh Trup 2 dan Trup 5 berada di tempat ketiga. Manakala krew terbaik adalah daripada krew daripada Trup 4.
Bagi kategori perseorangan, pemenang bagi Komander terbaik telah dimenangi Koperal Md Nurzulfadhlizal @ Tasrah bin Md Ja’afar daripada Trup 4, Gunner terbaik dimenangi oleh Lans Koperal Mohd Amzar Izamudin bin Rahim daripada Trup 5 dan pemandu terbaik dimenangi oleh Lans Koperal Pg Nor Hakim bin Pg Md Karim daripada Trup 4.
Antara objektif perlawanan ini dilaksanakan adalah bagi menguji keupayaan dan kompetensi krew di dalam bidang armor di mana setiap krew telah diuji dari segi mental dan fizikal. Selain daripada itu, perlawanan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sifat kepimpinan di kalangan ketua krew sekaligus memupuk semangat setia kawan di kalangan anggota SKPP Bn Bantu TDDB.
