BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 15th June 2026 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held an awareness talk by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison.
Present to officiate the event was Lieutenant Colonel Hasnan bin Haji Manan, Chief of Staff of Logistics (G4), RBLF Headquarters. Also in attendance were Land Forces Sergeant Major of the RBLF, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers as well as representatives from the ACB. The talk was delivered by Hajah Norashiken binti Haji Mat Salleh, Chief of Special Investigation, ACB.
The session commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Sergeant Nazirul bin Haji Asmat, The Religious Directorate of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The programme then proceeded with the awareness talk by the ACB.
The talk covered the topics Prevention of Corruption Act Chapter 139 and Handling of Gifts in the Public Services. The session highlighted the role of the ACB in supporting national security efforts while providing greater awareness on acts constituting corruption, its implications, and the penalties imposed under the law. A question-and-answer session was subsequently held, followed by a memento presentation by the Acting Deputy Commander of Land Forces to the Assistant Director of ACB.
The awareness session reflects the RBLF’s continuous commitment towards upholding integrity, accountability, and professionalism within the organisation. It also reinforces awareness on ethical conduct and the prevention of corrupt practices to preserve operational effectiveness, institutional credibility, and public trust in support of national defence and security.
TAKLIMAT KESEDARAN BIRO MENCEGAH RASUAH KEPADA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
BERAKAS GARISON, Isnin, 15 Jun 2026 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan satu taklimat kesedaran oleh Biro Mencegah Rasuah (BMR) bertempat di Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garison.
Hadir bagi meresmikan majlis ialah Leftenan Kolonel Hasnan bin Haji Manan, Penolong Ketua Staf Logistik (G4), Markas Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir ialah Sarjan Mejar Tentera Darat, Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah Kanan serta wakil daripada BMR. Taklimat telah disampaikan oleh Hajah Norashiken binti Haji Mat Salleh, Ketua Siasatan Khas, BMR.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah yang dipimpin oleh Sarjan Nazirul bin Haji Asmat, Jabatanarah Agama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (JAMA’AT). Seterusnya, majlis diteruskan dengan taklimat kesedaran oleh pihak BMR.
Taklimat tersebut merangkumi topik Akta Pencegahan Rasuah Bab 139 dan Pengendalian Hadiah dalam Perkhidmatan Awam. Sesi ini menekankan peranan BMR dalam menyokong usaha keselamatan negara di samping meningkatkan kesedaran mengenai perbuatan yang diklasifikasikan sebagai rasuah, implikasinya serta hukuman yang boleh dikenakan di bawah undang-undang. Sesi soal jawab turut diadakan sebelum penyampaian cenderahati daripada Pemangku Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB kepada Penolong Pengarah BMR.
Taklimat kesedaran ini mencerminkan komitmen berterusan TDDB dalam memperkukuhkan integriti, akauntabiliti dan profesionalisme dalam organisasi. Di samping itu, ia juga mempertingkatkan kesedaran terhadap kepentingan pematuhan etika serta pencegahan amalan rasuah bagi memastikan keberkesanan operasi, kredibiliti institusi dan kepercayaan awam terus terpelihara demi mendukung pertahanan dan keselamatan negara.
