PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 29th May 2026 – The School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF), concluded the Drill Instructor Course in a closing event held at the Parade Square, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF), Penanjong Garrison. The eight-week course, conducted from 16th April 2026 to 29th May 2026, was organised by the Drill Instructor Wing, SOI RBLF. A total of 31 personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and TI RBAF participated in the course. Present to officiate the closing was Major Ahmad Bohare bin Haji Mansor, Commanding Officer of SOI RBLF.
The event commenced with an inspection of the parade by the Commanding Officer, followed by a drill performance by the course participants. The event continued with a course review delivered by Sergeant Musyiri bin Haji Omar, the Course Conductor. The event then proceeded with the presentation of certificates and awards to outstanding participants. The Best Theory Award was presented to Lance Corporal Abdul Azim Syafi’i bin Dullah from the First Battalion RBLF, while the Best Practical Award and Best Overall Student Award were both awarded to Private Nur Aiman bin Mahari from the Third Battalion RBLF.
The course is aimed at enhancing participants’ capabilities in instilling discipline, precision and standardisation in drill movements, while preparing selected personnel to become competent and effective drill instructors. Through intensive training in drill movements, instructional techniques and leadership principles, the newly qualified drill instructors are now equipped to play a vital role in shaping and developing future generations of RBAF personnel.
KURSUS JURULATIH KAWAD TAMAT
PENANJONG GARISON, KHAMIS, 29 Mei 2026 – Sekolah Infantri Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB) telah menamatkan Kursus Jurulatih Kawad dalam satu acara penutup yang diadakan di Padang Kawad Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB), Penanjong Garison. Kursus selama lapan minggu yang berlangsung dari 16 April 2026 hingga 29 Mei 2026 itu telah dikendalikan oleh Cawangan Jurulatih Kawad, SI TDDB. Seramai 31 anggota daripada Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) dan IL ABDB telah menyertai kursus tersebut. Hadir bagi menyempurnakan acara penutup ialah Mejar Ahmad Bohare bin Haji Mansor, Pegawai Pemerintah SI TDDB.
Acara dimulakan dengan pemeriksaan perbarisan oleh Pegawai Pemerintah, diikuti dengan pertunjukan kawad oleh para peserta kursus. Acara diteruskan dengan ulasan kursus yang disampaikan oleh Sarjan Musyiri bin Haji Omar selaku Pengendali Kursus. Acara kemudiannya diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil dan anugerah kepada para peserta cemerlang. Anugerah Teori Terbaik telah disandang oleh Lans Koperal Abdul Azim Syafi’i bin Dullah daripada Batalion Pertama TDDB, manakala Anugerah Amali Terbaik dan Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan telah disandang oleh Soldadu Nur Aiman bin Mahari daripada Batalion Ketiga TDDB.
Kursus ini adalah bertujuan untuk memperkukuhkan kebolehan para peserta dalam menerapkan disiplin, ketepatan serta penyeragaman pergerakan kawad, di samping mempersiapkan anggota yang terpilih untuk menjadi jurulatih kawad yang kompeten dan efektif. Melalui latihan intensif dalam pergerakan kawad, teknik pengajaran serta prinsip kepimpinan, para jurulatih kawad yang baru kini bersedia untuk memainkan peranan penting dalam membentuk dan membangunkan generasi anggota ABDB pada masa akan datang.
