TUTONG CAMP, 16th March 2021 – RBLF received a study visit at 2Bn RBLF Tutong Camp, from the 11th Command and Staff College (CSC) participants comprising of 20 local officers from RBAF tri-services, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), Brunei Internal Security Department and 13 foreign students from Bangladesh, Republic of India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Republic of Philippines, Republic of Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and the United States of America.
The 11th CSC Officers including the Directing Staffs were welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel Pg Hj Nazri Amir bin Pg DP Hj Md Zain, Assistant Chief of Staff Training. Yang Mulia Brigadier General Hj Md Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of RBLF, attended to give a briefing session with the 11th CSC participants at Blok Ilmu of Tutong Camp. The visit was then presented with an overview exposure of the RBLF capabilities that will further enhance the knowledge of the CSC participants by featuring Static Displays. Participating in the Static Display are arms and equipment from infantry battalion, drones from communication cell of the RBLF HQ, Special Tasks Platoons equipment, Mortar Platoon, Medical and Dental services, demonstration of Bouncer from the Fire Department, Combat Service Support and Armoured Personnel Carrier, Combat Boat Squadron, Combat Engineer Squadron, Chemical Biological Radiology and Explosives Unit, Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron from Support Battalion. To conclude the visit, the participants were then invited to have a photo session and Hi-Tea as well as interactions with Senior Officers of RBLF at the Officers’ Mess of 2Bn RBLF.
The study visit was aimed to give the opportunity for the participants to mingle around with Senior Officers of the RBLF and to share ideas and thoughts especially from the foreign participants. Also ensuring the participants to gain firsthand knowledge and understand the roles of RBLF particularly in areas of defence cooperation in maintaining Peace and Security as well as Human Aid Disaster Relief Operation within the region in line with Defence Diplomacy.

LAWATAN KERJA SAMBIL BELAJAR KURSUS MAKTAB TURUS SESI 11/2021 KE TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, 16 Mac 2021 - TDDB telah menerima lawatan sambil belajar dari peserta Kursus Maktab Turus ke-11 yang bertempat di 2Bn TDDB Perkhemahan Tutong terdiri daripada 20 Pegawai tempatan dari ABDB, Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei (PPDB), Jabatan Keselamatan Dalam Negeri dan 13 pelajar asing yang terdiri dari Bangladesh, Republik India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Republik Islam Pakistan, Republik Filipina, Republik Singapura, Arab Saudi, Thailand, dan Amerika Syarikat.
Pegawai-Pegawai Kursus Maktab Turus ke-11 termasuk Juruarah Kursus disambut oleh Leftenan Kolonel Pg Hj Nazri Amir bin Pg Pg Hj Md Zain, Penolong Ketua Staf Latihan. Turut hadir untuk memberi sesi taklimat bersama peserta Kursus Maktab Turus ke-11 di Blok Ilmu, Perkhemahan Tutong ialah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Hj Md Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB. Lawatan tersebut diteruskan dengan Pertujukan Pameran Statistik sebagai pendedahan aset-aset TDDB bagi meningkatkan lagi pengetahuan peserta-peserta kursus. Turut mengikuti pameran statik adalah senjata dan peralatan dari Batalion Infantri, dron dari Sel Perhubungan Markas TDDB, peralatan dari Platun Gerak Khas, Platun Mertak, Khidmat Perubatan dan Pergigian, demonstrasi “Bouncer” dari Khidmat Bomba dan Keselamatan, Bantuan Kombat dan Kereta Angkut Perisai, Skuadron Bot Tempur, Skuadron Jurutera Tempur, Unit Radiologi Biologi Kimia dan Letupan, Skuadron Kereta Perisai Peninjau dari Batalion Bantu. Lawatan diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai bersama Pegawai-pegawai TDDB dan seterusnya acara minum petang dan berinteraksi bersama Pegawai-pegawai Kanan bertempat di Mes Pegawai 2Bn TDDB.
Lawatan sambil belajar ini memberikan peluang kepada peserta-peserta kursus untuk berinteraksi dengan Pegawai-pegawai Kanan TDDB serta berkongsi pendapat dengan peserta kursus dari luar negara. Ianya juga dapat memberi perserta-peserta kursus untuk memperolehi pengetahuan dan memahami peranan TDDB terutama dalam bidang kerjasama pertahanan demi menjaga kedamaian dan keselamatan serta Operasi Bantuan Bencana di rantau ini sejajar dengan Diplomasi Pertahanan.
