RBLF HELD YASSIN AND TAHLIL AT THE ROYAL MAUSOLEUM IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF 63rd ANNIVERSARY
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 14th May 2024 – In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 63rd Anniversary, The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held Yassin and Tahlil at the Royal Mausoleum today for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Bendahara Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahman, and Al-Marhum Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim ibni Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah.
DENTAL SERVICES ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE ATTENDS THE ANNUAL GLASGOW ORAL SURGERY SYMPOSIUM
BERAKAS GARISSON, Friday, 10 May 2024 – Lieutenant Colonel Dr Hjh Norinda bte Hj Tengah, Deputy Chief Dental Services (Clinical) and Major Dr Nur Md Hisyamuddin bin Hj Masri, Acting Senior Dental Officer, dental officers specialising in oral surgery from the Dental Services, Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) attended the annual Glasgow Oral Surgery Symposium via Video Teleconference (VTC).
THE CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE COMBAT ENGINEER RECONNAISSANCE SERGEANT COURSE SESSION 2024
PENANJONG GARRISON, Tuesday, 7th May 2024 – The closing ceremony of the Combat Engineer Reconnaissance Sergeant Course Session 2024 took place in the Lecture Room, School of Military Engineer, Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Force (SOME ER RBLF). A total of 22 participants successfully completed the course comprising of personnel from all squadrons of ER RBLF. The 10-week course commenced from 4th March 2024 until 7th May 2024 and was conducted by the Combat Engineer Basic Skills Wing, SOME ER RBLF.
HANDING OVER CEREMONY FOR THE OUTGOING AND THE NEWLY APPOINTED CHIEF MEDICAL SERVICES, ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday 6th May 2024 – Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held a handing over of command today between Colonel (Dr) Haji Awang Mohd Hafizul bin Haji Awang Mohd Hassan, the outgoing Chief Medical Services (CMS) and Lieutenant Colonel (Dr) Ummi Suzeyanna binti Haji Johari, the newly appointed CMS at the Parade Square of First Battalion RBLF, Berakas Garrison. Also, in attendance were senior officers, officers and personnel of the Medical Services, RBLF.
RBLF COMMANDER RECEIVES INTRODUCTORY CALL FROM COMMANDER YAWATA RYOSUKE JAPANESE DEFENCE ATTACHÉ ACCREDITED TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 2nd May 2024 – Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received an introductory call from Commander Yawata Ryosuke, the non-resident Japanese Defence Attaché Accredited to Brunei Darussalam who is based in Malaysia. The courtesy call was held today at the RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison.
REGIMENTAL DINNER NIGHT FOR FORMER OFFICERS OF SECOND BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
TUTONG CAMP, Wednesday, 1st May 2024 – The Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) hosted a Regimental Dinner Night at Tutong Camp Officers’ Mess to bid farewell to the outgoing officers after serving their tour in 2Bn RBLF. The event featured military regimental customs and was attended by former and current officers of 2Bn RBLF along with their spouses.
LATMA KERIS SATRIA EXERCISE 15/2024 CLOSING CEREMONY
TUTONG CAMP, Monday, April 29, 2024 – The Exercise LATMA KERIS SATRIA 15/2024 concluded today at the Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF), Tutong Camp. Commencing on 22 April 2024, this bilateral exercise featured the collaborative efforts of one platoon from 2Bn RBLF and one platoon from the 515th Infantry Raider Battalion/Ugra Tapa Yudha of the Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Darat (Yonif 515/UTY/9/2 KOSTRAD).
14th COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE VISITS TO ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 24th April 2024 – Royal Brunei Land Force Headquarters (RBLF HQ) received a study visit from the 14th Command and Staff Course (CSC) from the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) at Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison. The course participants comprised of 37 officers from RBAF, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and International Officers.
KHATAM AL-QURAN IN CONJUNCTION WITH LAND ENGINEERING COMBAT SERVICE SUPPORT ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE’S ANNIVERSARY 2024
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 24th April 2024 – Land Engineering Combat Service Support Royal Brunei Land Force (LE CSS RBLF) organised a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony in conjunction with the anniversary of the LE CSS RBLF for the year 2024, at Surau Al-Faizun, Berakas Garrison.
LATMA KERIS SATRIA EXERCISE 15/2024 OPENING CEREMONY
TUTONG CAMP, Tuesday, 23rd April 2024 – The Opening Ceremony of the LATMA KERIS SATRIA Exercise Series 15/2024 was held at the Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF), Tutong Camp. The bilateral exercise between 2Bn RBLF and Infantry Battalion Raider 515/Ugra Tapa Yudha Indonesian National Army – Army (Yonif 515/UTY/9/2 KOSTRAD) is currently ongoing for nine days starting from 22nd to 30th April 2024.
ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE’S INTRODUCTORY VISIT TO REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Tuesday, 23rd April 2024 – Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and delegation have made an introductory visit to the Republic of Singapore from 22nd April to 24th April 2024.
DENTAL SERVICES ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE ATTENDS THE 13TH INTERNATIONAL DENTAL EXHIBITION AND MEETING (IDEM)
SINGAPORE, 19 ARPIL 2024 – Dental Services Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) attended the 13th International Dental Exhibition and Meeting (IDEM), the leading dental exhibition and conference in the Asia-Pacific region organised by the Singapore Dental Association. The exhibition and conference were held for three days from 19th to 21st April 2024 at the Sands Expo Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
COMMANDER LAND FORCE AND SENIOR OFFICERS VISITED PERSONNEL ON OPERATIONAL DUTIES ON EID AL-FITR
BRUNEI MUARA, Thursday, 11th April 2024 – Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and Senior Officers have visited RBLF personnel on operational duties on Eid Al-Fitr at several operational areas. During these visits, the RBLF Commander and Senior Officers had the opportunity to interact with personnel on duty who were away from their families on Eid Al-Fitr day.
ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE HELD HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI PRAYERS 1445 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARISSON, Thursday, 11th April 2024 – Muslims throughout the country celebrated Hari Raya ‘Aidilfitri today with mass Sunnat Hari Raya prayers held in mosques and suraus nationwide, including all suraus in the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) camps.
ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE HOLDS HARI RAYA TAKBIR TO MARK THE ARRIVAL OF SYAWAL 1445 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARISSON, Wednesday, 10th April 2024 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held a Takbir Raya ceremony to mark the beginning of the month of Syawal 1445 Hijrah at all RBLF camps including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque.
