ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE HOLDS SUNNAT HARI RAYA AIDILADHA PRAYERS 1445 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARISSON, Monday, 17th June 2024 – Muslims throughout the country celebrated Hari Raya Aidiladha 1445 Hijrah with mass Hari Raya Aidiladha Prayers held at Mosques and Suraus nationwide including Suraus at all Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) camps.
ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE CELEBRATES AND PERFORMS TAKBIR HARI RAYA AIDILADHA 1445 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARRISON, Sunday, 16th June 2024 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held Takbir Raya in conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidiladha 1445 Hijrah at all RBLF Suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque.
PLATOON COMMANDER COMBAT AND PLATOON SERGEANT COMBAT COURSES 2024 CLOSING CEREMONY
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 13th June 2024 – A total of 50 Officers and personnel completed the Platoon Commander Combat Course 2024 and Platoon Sergeant Combat Course 2024 in a closing ceremony held at the Parade Square, School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF). The Platoon Commander Combat Course was a 12-week course, which started on 25th March to 13th June 2024, while the Platoon Sergeant Course was conducted for 8 weeks from 22nd April to 13th June 2024.
RBLF RECEIVES A VISIT FROM MILITARY CADETS OF SAYYIDINA HASSAN SECONDARY SCHOOL
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 13th June 2024 – Military Cadets of Sayyidina Hassan Secondary School made a visit to Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) hosted by the First Battalion RBLF (1Bn RBLF) at the 1Bn RBLF Cookhouse, Berakas Garrison. Present during the visit was Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Haji Ridzamfaizal bin Pengiran Haji Salleh, Commanding Officer of 1Bn RBLF, Deputy Commanding Officer of 1Bn RBLF, Officers, personnel of 1Bn RBLF and teachers from Sayyidina Hassan Secondary School.
ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE OFFICERS AND PERSONNEL AMONG THE RECIPIENTS OF STATE HONORARY MEDALS
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 12 June 2024 – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has consented to award the State Honorary Medals to civilian and military officers and personnel of the Ministry of Defence in conjunction with His Majesty’s 77th birthday celebration.
DENTAL SERVICES ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE CELEBRATES 52nd ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 11th June 2024 – The Dental Services of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) proudly celebrated its 52nd anniversary with a parade and Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony at Dental Services building, Berakas Garrison.
INTERMEDIATE OFFICER TACTICS COURSE 2024 CLOSING CEREMONY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 7th June 2024 – The Closing Ceremony of the Intermediate Officer Tactics Course (IOTC) 2024 was held at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison. A total of 21 Officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces attended the eight-week course which was conducted from 1st April to 24th May 2024.
FIELD HEADQUARTERS ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE RECEIVES VISIT FROM TINKERBELL LEARNING SCHOOL
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 06 June 2024 – Field Headquarters Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received an educational visit from the Tinkerbell Learning School with a group of 61 students and accompanied by five teachers at Armour Recce Squadron (ARS) RBLF, Penanjong Garrison. The aim of the visit is to provide exposure and general knowledge on the roles and responsibilities of the RBLF.
RBLF PARTAKES IN RBAF 63rd ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
PENANJONG GARRISON, Saturday, 1st June 2024 - His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, consented to attend the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 63rd Anniversary Celebration held in Penanjong Garrison. Highlight of the celebration was the grand parade. Static display was also unveiled to the public showing military vehicles and equipments.
SECOND BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE CONTINUES TO ENLIVEN TUTONG DISTRICT MOSQUES
TUTONG, Friday, 31st May 2024 – The Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) continued their participation in weekly religious activities at various mosques in the Tutong District throughout the month of May. Among the mosques visited were Kampong Benutan Mosque, Kampong Bukit Beruang Mosque, Ar-Rahim Mosque at Kampong Bukit Panggal and Masjid Haji Abdul Hazim Mosque at Kampong Luagan Dudok.
LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA IN HEALTH SCIENCE PARAMEDIC STUDENTS OF YEAR 3 PLACEMENT AT MEDICAL SERVICES, BOLKIAH GARRISON
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 30th May 2024 – The conduct of Level 5 Diploma in Health Science Paramedic Year 3 students along with their lecturers from Polytechnic Brunei has officially concluded their placement at Medical Services, Bolkiah Garrison. A total of 33 students completed their four-day work placement which took place from 27th May 2024 until 30th May 2024.
OFFICER CADET MUHAMMAD SYAHMI BIN HAJI KAMALUDDIN SUCCESSFULLY COMMISSIONED FROM THE UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY, WEST POINT
WEST POINT, Saturday, 25th May 2024 - The 2024 Graduation Ceremony of the United States Military Academy at West Point marked a prestigious milestone for Royal Brunei Land Force Officer Cadet Muhammad Syahmi bin Haji Kamaluddin, a Supreme Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces 2019 Scholar. Officer Cadet Syahmi was one of the 12 international cadets among a class of over 1,000 cadets that graduated from West Point for four years programme dated 1st July 2020 until 25th May 2024. The ceremony took place at Michie Stadium, West Point, New York, with President Joe Biden as the Guest of Honor.
COMBAT MEDIC COURSE CLOSING CEREMONY 2024 SESSION
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 24 May 2024 – The closing ceremony of the Combat Medic Course (CMC) 2024 was held at Ibnu Sina Lecture Hall, Medical and Health Services, Bolkiah Garrison. The CMC 2024 session was a 9-week course which comprised of 31 personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Special Forces Regiment (SFR), Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and Prisons Department.
CHIEF OF STAFF OF THE ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE ATTENDS THE LAND FORCE OF THE PACIFIC (LANPAC) SYMPOSIUM AND EXPOSITION 2024
HONOLULU, Thursday, 16th May 2024 – Royal Brunei Land Force’s delegation led by Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Chief of Staff (COS) of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), recently participated in the 11th Land Forces Pacific (LANPAC) Symposium and Exposition in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of America. The event was held from 14 to 16 May 2024 which consisted of participation from over 24 countries and was organised by The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and inaugurated by General A. Flynn, Commanding General of the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC). LANPAC initially aims to provide a unique opportunity to engage with allies and partners from across the Pacific region, exchange ideas for enhancing armies’ capabilities and forge bilateral and multinational relationships through joint exercises or army to army talk.
COMMAND AND STAFF CLASS 74, PHILIPPINES ARMED FORCES MADE A VISIT TO THE ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
LUMUT CAMP, Wednesday, 15th May 2024 - Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received a visit from the delegation of the Command and Staff Class (CSC) 74, Philippines Armed Forces as part of their education tour in Brunei Darussalam. The visit took place at Third Battalion RBLF, Lumut Camp and with Head of Delegation, Colonel Ronald Albert P. Genete PA (GSC), the Director of the Leadership Development Center at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Education, Training and Doctrine Command (AFPETDC). The delegation consisted of 53 Course Participants of CSC Class 74, Philippines Armed Forces alongside Directing Staff and Supporting Staff.
