PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR JUNIOR NON COMMISIONED OFFICERS OF ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE HEADQUARTERS AND BRUNEI LAND FORCE HEADQUARTERS COMPANY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 24th July 2024 - Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Headquarters and RBLF Headquarters Company held a promotion ceremony today for its Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) held at Berakas Garrison. The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the insignia presentation, and concluded with the recital of Doa Selamat and a group photo session.

TUTONG CAMP, Thursday, 18th July 2024 - A promotion ceremony for Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) personnel was held today at two separate venues. The promotion ceremony for the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) was held at the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants’ and Sergeants’ Mess whereas the promotion ceremony for the Junior NCOs (JNCOs) was held at the Corporal Club, Tutong Camp.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 15th July 2024 – A Grand Parade in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 78th birthday celebration was held at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Sunday, 14th July 2024 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held a Doa Kesyukuran event in conjunction with the 78th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam simultaneously at all RBLF suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the main event held at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison.
ILAL HIJRAH 1446 CELEBRATION AND KHATAM AL-QUR’AN CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES’ 63rd ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 12th July 2024 – The Ministry of Defence held Ilal Hijrah 1446 celebration and Khatam Al-Qur’an event in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) 63rd Anniversary simultaneously at all RBAF Suraus with the focal event at Surau Al-Hikmah, Training Institute RBAF in Penanjong Garrison. The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) also held such event concurrently including at Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque, with the main event at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison. Present at the ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, RBLF Chief of Staff, Senior Officers, Officers, and personnel of the RBLF.
CBRE PIONEER COURSE CLOSING CEREMONY
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday 12th July 2024 – A closing ceremony for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Explosive (CBRE) Pioneer Course 2024 session was held at the Second Squadron [Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Explosive Defence] Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Force (2Sqn [CBRE Def] ER RBLF). A total of nine participants has successfully completed the course which was conducted by the Combat Engineer Special Operations and Demolition Wing, School of Military Engineer (SOME) ER RBLF from 22nd April 2024 to 12th July 2024.
CLOSING CEREMONY FOR SMALL ARMS INSTRUCTOR COURSE 1/2024
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 11th July 2024 – The closing ceremony for the Small Arms Instructor Course Series 1/2024 was held at the School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF). A total of 35 course participants from various units of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and the Prisons Department, Ministry of Home Affairs has successfully completed the course, which was conducted from 18th April 2024 to 11th July 2024 by the Small Arms and Heavy Weapons Training Wing, SOI RBLF. Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer SOI RBLF. Also in attendance were Officers and personnel from the RBAF and the Prisons Department.
ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE CELEBRATES ILAL HIJRAH 1446
BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 6th July 2024 – Brunei Darussalam ushered the new year of 1446 Hijrah of the Islamic calendar with Ilal Hijrah celebration at mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide. The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) also held the event simultaneously at all RBLF Suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the focal event held at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison.
COMMISSIONING AND PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR OFFICER CADET GRADUATES FROM THE UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY, WEST POINT
BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 1st July 2024 – By the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, Officer Cadet Muhammad Syahmi bin Haji Kamaluddin who graduated from the United States Military Academy, West Point, was commissioned and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
