RBLF HALF MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIP 2025
TUTONG CAMP, Thursday, 4th September 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Half Marathon Championship 2025, hosted by the Second Battalion (2Bn) RBLF, took place at Tutong Camp today. Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, RBLF Commander. Also in attendance were the RBLF Deputy Commander, Field Commander, Chief of Staff, Senior Officers, officers and RBLF personnel.
RBLF CONCLUDES DIKIR MAULUD 1447 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 4th September 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a closing ceremony for Dikir Maulud, marking the conclusion of the 12 consecutive nights of Dikir Maulud in commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 1447 Hijrah. The ceremony took place at all RBLF Suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the main event at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison. In attendance was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, RBLF Commander, along with Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of RBLF.
GEMA MARHABAN AT MASJID PULAU BARU-BARU
PULAU BARU-BARU, Wednesday, 3rd September 2025 – As part of the Ministry of Defence’s ‘Gema Marhaban Dalam‘ programme in commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 1447 Hijrah, the Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) held Dikir Maulud held at Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru. In attendance as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, RBLF Commander, along with Senior Officers from the Ministry of Defence.
EXERCISE MALBRU SETIA 17/2025 AND MERTAK BERSATU 15/2025 FLAG HANDOVER CEREMONY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 3rd September 2025 – The Flag Handover Ceremony for Exercise MALBRU SETIA 17/2025 and Exercise MERTAK BERSATU 15/2025 was held at the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Headquarters, Berakas Garrison. A total of 170 officers and personnel from the First Battalion (1Bn) RBLF will participate in the exercise at Kota Belud, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and Miri, Sarawak, scheduled to take place from 08th to 18th September 2025.
15th BRUNEI-INDONESIA ARMY WORKING GROUP MEETING
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 3 September 2025 – The 15th Brunei-Indonesia Army Working Group (BRUNESIA AWG 15/2025) meeting between the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) and the Indonesian Army (Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) was held from 02nd to 03rd September 2025 at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison.
‘GEMPUR WIRA’ EXERCISE 2025
PENANJONG GARRISON, Wednesday, 03 September 2025 – The School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF) held the closing ceremony for the Company Commander, Section Commander, and the Heavy Support Weapon Course at the Field Firing Area (FFA), Binturan Range, Penanjong Garrison. A total of 13 officers and 67 personnel from various units of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) had completed the courses. Present to officiate the closing was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the RBLF, and he was joined by Lieutenant Colonel Md Fakaruddin Zuraidi bin Haji Ramli, RBLF Field Commander.
RBLF COMMANDER ATTENDS DIKIR MAULUD AT THIRD BATTALION
LUMUT CAMP, Tuesday, 02nd September 2025 – In conjunction with the celebration of Maulidur Rasul 1447 Hijrah, Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) attended the Dikir Maulud event at Surau Ar-Rahmah of Third Battalion RBLF (3Bn RBLF) in Lumut Camp.
THIRD BATTALION HELDS HALF MARATHON
LUMUT CAMP, Monday, 1st September 2025 – The Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) today organised inter-units Half Marathon competition held at Lumut Camp. Also joining the competition was Major Khairul Faizin bin Haji Abdul Gapar, the Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 01st September 2025 – Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), today received a courtesy call from Air Vice Marshal Manish Kumar Gupta, National Defence College Senior Directing Staff (Air), Republic of India, held at the RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison.

BANGAR CAMP, Monday, 01st September 2025 – The ‘E’ Company, First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (‘E’ Coy 1Bn RBLF) held Dikir Maulud as part of the Ministry of Defence’s ‘Gema Marhaban Dalam‘ programme in commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 1447 Hijrah. In attendance as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, RBLF Commander, along with Senior Officers from the Ministry of Defence, held at Surau Al-Quwwah, Bangar Camp, Temburong.
SIGNAL SQUADRON 43RD ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 1st September 2025 – The Signal Squadron of Combat Service Support, Royal Brunei Land Forces (Sig Sqn CSS RBLF), held its 43rd Anniversary celebration with a parade ceremony led by Captain Muhammad Asyraf bin Md. Rafidi, Sig Sqn CSS RBLF Communication Officer. Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Haji Nazri Amir bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Md Zain, Commanding Officer of the Logistic Depot CSS RBLF, attended the celebration as the representative of the Commandant of CSS RBLF held at Berakas Garrison.

BELAIT DISTRICT, Saturday, 30th August 2025 – The Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) joined together with the citizens and residents of Belait District to greet His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam for a Get-Together in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday celebrations held at the Municipal Field, Jalan Sultan, Kuala Belait.
FINAL RBAF FOOTBALL AND TUG OF WAR TOURNAMENT 2025
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 29th August 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces hosted the final round of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Football and Tug of War 2025, held at the Mini Stadium Berakas Garrison. The tournament, which ran from 11th to 28th August 2025, was participated in by four teams comprising of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and RBAF Combined Team.
ELEVATING LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOR JUNIOR NCOS
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 29th August 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) Leadership Course 2/2025 has come to an end with a closing event held at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison. The course, which ran from 1st August to 29th August 2025, involved the participation of 120 personnel from various RBLF sub-units. Present to officiate the closing was Major Abdul Hafiz bin Abd Razak, Commanding Officer of RBLF Land Engineering Combat Service Support (LE CSS).
STRENGTHENING RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH MEDIA DAY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 27th August 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) hosted Second Session of Media Day 2025, which was held at Berakas Garrison. A total of 49 Public Relations Liaisons, personnel, and representatives from various units under the Ministry of Defence, as well as local media partners such as Radio Television Brunei, Information Department and Pelita Brunei, attended the Media Day.
