21st ADMM-PLUS EWG ON MILITARY MEDICINE
JAKARTA, Friday, 17th October 2025 – Lieutenant Colonel (Dr.) Haji Isehardy bin Murni, Deputy Chief Medical Services (Clinical), attended the 21st ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus Experts’ Working Group on Military Medicine (ADMM-Plus EWG on MM), held from 14th to 17th October 2025 in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia. He was accompanied by Lieutenant Abdul Matin bin Haji Abdul Malik, Logistics Officer from the Medical Services RBLF. Themed “The Resilience of Military Medicine Towards the Current Health Challenges”, the event brought together regional defence medical experts to address shared challenges in military healthcare.
RBLF RECEIVES VISIT FROM THE ACTING SECRETARY OF DEFENCE, ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN
BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 14th October 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) today received a visit from His Excellency Rear Admiral Amir Mahmood, HI (M), the Acting Secretary of Defence, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and delegation.
SIX RBLF DENTAL OFFICERS VISITED JPMC
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 13th October 2025 - Six officers from the Dental Services Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) recently conducted an official visit to the Dental Clinic and Laboratory at Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC). The delegation, led by Colonel (Dr.) Jefri bin Haji Abd Razak, RBLF Chief of Dental Services, was warmly received by Mr Neelakannan Periyasamy, Chief Operating Officer of JPMC, along with representatives from JPMC’s management team and Dental Consultants from the Dental Department.
MEDICAL SERVICES ATTENDED THE INTERNATIONAL NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES CONFERENCE
BERAKAS, Sunday, 12th October 2025 – The Medical Services of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) took part in the International Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Conference 2025, held from 10th to 12th October at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Berakas. The event was formally inaugurated by the Minister of Health, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia (Dr.) Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, and attended by the Chief of RBLF Medical Services, Lieutenant Colonel Dr Ummi Suzeyanna binti Haji Johari.
LOGISTICS DEPOT COMMANDING OFFICER HANDOVER TAKEOVER CEREMONY
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 10th October 2025 – The Logistics Depot Combat Service Support Royal Brunei Land Forces (Log Depot CSS RBLF) held a change of command for its Commanding Officer in a Handover and Takeover Ceremony at the Log Depot CSS RBLF Headquarters, Bolkiah Garrison. The ceremony marked the official handover from the outgoing Commanding Officer (CO), Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Haji Nazri Amir bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Md Zain, to the newly appointed CO, Major Muhd Shahrimmy bin Karim.
1BN RBLF WELCOMES NEW COMMANDING OFFICER
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 10th October 2025 – The First Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Forces (1Bn RBLF) held a takeover ceremony for its newly appointed Commanding Officer, Major Mahathir bin Haji Nordin, at the 1Bn RBLF Parade Square, Berakas Garrison.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 10th October 2025 – The First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (1Bn RBLF) organised inter-unit Swimming and Water Polo Competition held at the Berakas Garrison swimming pool. In attendance to present the prizes was Major Mahathir bin Haji Nordin, the Commanding Officer of 1Bn RBLF.
EXERCISE RECOVERY CAMP 2025 ENHANCES TECHNICAL READINESS
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 10th October 2025 – The Land Engineering, Combat Service Support, Royal Brunei Land Forces (LE CSS RBLF), conducted the Land Engineering Exercise ‘Recovery Camp’ 2025 held at Penanjong Garrison from 6th to 10th October 2025.
FIELD HEADQUARTERS RBLF SWIMMING AND WATER POLO COMPETITION
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 10th October 2025 – The Field unit of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) organised an inter-unit Swimming and Water Polo Competition held at the Penanjong Garrison swimming pool. Participating sub-units in the Water Polo competition were the Engineering Regiment (Engr Regt) and Field Headquarters (Field HQ) Combined Team, which consists of personnel from Field HQ, Armoured Recce Squadron (ARS) and Combat Boat Squadron (CBS). In attendance to present the prizes was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, the RBLF Field Commander.
RBLF ATTENDED 1ST SINGAPORE-BRUNEI ARMY WORKING GROUP
REPUBLIC SINGAPORE, Friday, 10th October 2025 – The Singapore Army hosted the first Singapore-Brunei Army Working Group (AWG) meeting held at the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), Republic of Singapore from 8th to 11th October 2025. The meeting was co-chaired by Colonel Danny Poh, Assistant Chief of the General Staff (Training)/Deputy Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Singapore Army, and Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, the Chief of Staff Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF).
VISIT FROM THE SECRETARY OF NATIONAL DEFENCE, REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES
BANGAR, Thursday, 9th October 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) hosted a high tea session at Bangar Camp, Temburong, as part of the official visit by His Excellency Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr, Secretary of National Defence, Republic of the Philippines, to Brunei Darussalam. In attendance to welcome His Excellency Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr, was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Deputy Commander of the RBLF, and was joined by Brigadier General (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), along with senior officers from the RBLF.
ENHANCING COMMUNICATION READINESS THROUGH EXERCISE ‘GELOMBANG SEPADU’ 2025
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 9th October 2025 – The Signal Squadron, Combat Service Support Royal Brunei Land Forces (CSS RBLF), supported by the RBLF Battalion Signal Platoons, had conducted Exercise ‘GELOMBANG SEPADU 2025 at Penanjong Garrison from 7th to 9th October 2025. Present to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Azhar bin Haji Matzan, Commandant of CSS RBLF, held at the Field Parade Square, Penanjong Garrison.
7-A-SIDE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
TUTONG CAMP, Thursday, 9th October 2025 – The Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) organised the 7-A-Side Football Tournament Battalion level from 7th to 9th October 2025, which was held at the 2Bn RBLF Football and Hockey Fields in Tutong Camp. The tournament was last held in 1998 and is revived again this year using the original challenge trophy.
DOA KESYUKURAN CEREMONY IN COMMEMORATION OF HER MAJESTY DULI RAJA ISTERI BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
MADANG, Tuesday, 07th October 2025 – In conjunction with Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam birthday celebration, members of the Royal Brunei Land Forces Wives’ Welfare Body (BAKTI) had participated in the Doa Kesyukuran ceremony organised by Majlis Wanita Negara Brunei Darussalam (MWNBD), held at Masjid Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit, Kampong Madang.
PARACOUNSELOR PREPARATORY COURSE
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday, 6th October 2025 - Captain Pengiran Muhd Faaiz bin Pengiran Haji Ali and Sergeant Khairul Haziman bin Suhaili from the Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), and Sergeant Muhd Firdaus bin Abd Karim from the Field Headquarters Quartermaster RBLF, have completed the Paracounselor Preparatory Course conducted by Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) PRIHATIN Centre, from 4th September to 6th October 2025.
