FIELD RBLF CELEBRATES 2ND ANNIVERSARY
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 21st November 2025 – The Field Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held its 2nd anniversary celebration with an event at the Al-Wafrah Hall, Penanjong Garrison. Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Field Commander RBLF.
ENGINEER TROOP COMMANDER, ENGINEER SECTION COMMANDER AND BASIC ENGINEER COURSE CONCLUDED
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 20th November 2025 – The closing event for the Engineer Troop Commander Course, Engineer Section Commander Course and Basic Engineer Course took place at the Headquarters of the First Squadron (Field Engineer), Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (1Sqn (Field Egr) Engr Regt RBLF). The Engineer Troop Commander Course ran concurrently with the Basic Engineer Course for thirty-one weeks from 14th April 2025 until 18th November 2025, while the Engineer Section Commander Course was conducted over nine weeks from 15th September 2025 until 18th November 2025. In attendance to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Engr Regt Commanding Officer.
REHEARSAL OF CONCEPT (ROC) DRILL FOR EXERCISE SEMANGAT WAJA 08/26
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 20th November 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) conducted the Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) Drill as part of the preparatory phase for Exercise Semangat Waja 08/26 (Ex SW 08/26), scheduled to take place from 21st to 30th January 2026. The ROC Drill was held at the Signals Training Wing, School of Infantry RBLF, Penanjong Garrison from 17th to 19th November 2025, involving the participation of various national security agencies and stakeholders.
THE COMPLETION OF WATCHKEEPER COURSE
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 20 November 2025 – A total of 25 participants from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Special Forces Regiment Royal Brunei Armed Forces (SFR RBAF) and the Royal Brunei Malay Reserve Regiment (RBMRR) had successfully completed the Watchkeeper Course, conducted by the School of Infantry (SOI) from 3rd to 21st November 2025.The closing event was held at SOI RBLF Headquarters, Penanjong Garrison, attended by Major Pengiran Haji Mohd Razif bin Pengiran Haji Idros, SOI Acting Commanding Officer.
AWANG SEMAUN SECONDARY SCHOOL MADE A VISIT TO ARMOURED RECONAISSANCE SQUADRON, ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCES
PENANJONG GARRISON, Tuesday, 18th November 2025 – The Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron, Royal Brunei Land Forces (ARS RBLF) received an educational visit consisting 36 students and five teachers from Awang Semaun Secondary School.
HEALTH AND DENTAL OUTREACH ROADSHOW IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF 64th ANNIVERSARY
KAMPUNG SUKANG, Sunday, 16th November 2025 – The Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), in collaboration with the Medical Services and Dental Services RBLF, conducted a health and dental roadshow in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 64th Anniversary, held at Kampong Sukang Multi-Purpose Hall, Belait District.
3BN RBLF JOINS THE LUMUT BEACH FESTIVAL 2025
LUMUT, Sunday, 16th November 2025 – The Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) today joined a brisk walk activity in conjunction with the Lumut Beach Festival 2025, organised by the village consultative council of Kampong Lumut ll in collaboration with the village consultative councils of Kampong Sungai Liang and Lumut National Housing Scheme 1, 2 and 3 held at the Lumut Beach Recreational Park.
COMBAT MEDICS READY TO SERVE
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 14th November 2025 – The Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), conducted the closing event for the Combat Medic Course (CMC) 2025 at the FIBUA Complex in Penanjong Garrison. The course, held from 8th September to 13th November 2025, was attended by a total of 20 participants, comprising two personnel from the Field Headquarters, two personnel each from the First, Second and Third Battalion, one from the Royal Guard Regiment, three from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), three from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), two from the Special Forces Regiment, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (SFR RBAF), one from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and two from the Prisons Department.
RBLF SENIOR OFFICER COMPLETED THE SENIOR FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Friday, 14 November 2025 – Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Commanding Officer of the Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) has successfully completed the Senior Fellowship Program in Public Service (SFPPS) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (LKYSPP NUS).
EDUCATIONAL VISIT FROM PERPINDAHAN KAMPONG LAMBAK KANAN JALAN 10 PRIMARY SCHOOL
TUTONG CAMP, Thursday, 13th November 2025 – The Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) received an educational visit consisting of 38 students and 8 teachers from the Perpindahan Kampong Lambak Kanan Jalan 10 Primary School, held at Tutong Camp.
PIPE MAJOR, DRUM MAJOR, INTERMEDIATE MUSIC, BASIC MUSIC AND BASIC PIPES AND DRUMS COURSE 2025
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 13th November 2025 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Band held the closing ceremony for the Pipe Major Course, Drum Major Course, Intermediate Music Course, Basic Music Course, and Basic Pipes and Drums Course 2025, held at the Wira Seni Concert Hall, Bolkiah Garrison. The courses were conducted from 6th January to 13th November 2025, involving a total of 42 course participants, comprising 20 personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Band, 6 from RBAF, 10 from the Royal Brunei Navy, one from the Royal Brunei Police Force, 2 from the Fire and Rescue Department, and 3 from the Prison Department Band. Officiating the closing was Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, the RBLF Chief of Staff, and were joined by Senior Officers and Officers from respective units.
MEDICAL SERVICES PARTICIPATED IN EXERCISE BANGAU PUTIH 2025
BERAKAS, Thursday, 13th November 2025 – The Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), participated in one-day Exercise BANGAU PUTIH 2025, organised by the Department of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, held at the Berakas International Airport. Also joining in the exercise were the Royal Brunei Air Force, Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces, the Royal Brunei Police Force, Royal Customs and Excise Department, Department of Immigration and National Registration, Ministry of Health, and the Fire and Rescue Department.
NATIONAL FLAG HANDOVER CEREMONY FOR RBLF 33rd AARM SHOOTING CONTINGENT
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 13th November 2025 – The National Flag Handover Ceremony to the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Shooting Contingent, who will be participating in the 33rd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (33rd AARM), was held today at the RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison. The flag was handed over by Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the RBLF, to Lieutenant Colonel Haji Arsahrin bin Haji Arif, the Contingent Commander. Also in attendance to witness the ceremony were the RBLF Board of Executives, Senior Officers and Officers.
RBLF COMMANDER ATTENDED DEFENSE AND SECURITY 2025 EXHIBITION IN BANGKOK, THAILAND
BANGKOK, Thursday, 13 November 2025 – Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), attended the Defense and Security 2025 Exhibition, held from 10th to 13th November 2025 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand. The Honourable Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II, also attended the exhibition.
HANDOVER AND TAKEOVER CEREMONY FOR SOI RBLF COMMANDING OFFICER
PENANJONG GARRISON, Wednesday, 12th November 2025 – The School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF), held a Handover and Takeover Ceremony between the outgoing Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, and the newly appointed Commanding Officer, Major Ahmad Bohare bin Haji Mansor, which took place at Theatre 1, SOI RBLF, Penanjong Garrison.
