TUTONG CAMP, Saturday, 22nd June 2024 – The opening ceremony for Exercise PAHLAWAN WARRIOR 03/2024 was held today at the Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF), Tutong Camp. The exercise, which is participated by a total of 114 officers and personnel from 2Bn RBLF as well as 98 officers and personnel from the 3rd Squadron – 4th Cavalry of 3rd Brigade Combat Team, United States Army Pacific (3 – 4 CAV, 3rd Bde Combat Team, USARPAC), is scheduled from 22nd June 2024 until 30th June 2024.
Present to officiate the exercise was Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Baharuddin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Commanding Officer of the 2Bn RBLF. Also in attendance were Lieutenant Colonel Josh Long, 29th Brigade Engineer Battalion Commander, 3rd Bde Combat Team, as well as 2Bn RBLF and USARPAC Officers and personnel.
Exercise PAHLAWAN WARRIOR 03/2024 is the third bilateral army-to-army exercise between the RBLF and USARPAC since its initiation in 2018. The aim of this exercise is to enhance cooperation and friendship between the two armies through sharing of knowledge and experiences at all levels. For this year’s exercise, the RBLF will lead the jungle warfare phase, while the USARPAC will focus on urban operations phase.
UPACARA PEMBUKAAN EKSESAIS PAHLAWAN WARRIOR 03/2024
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Sabtu, 22 Jun 2024 – Upacara Pembukaan bagi Eksesais PAHLAWAN WARRIOR 03/2024 telah berlangsung pada hari ini bertempat di Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB), Perkhemahan Tutong. Seramai 114 Pegawai dan anggota dari 2Bn TDDB serta 98 Pegawai dan anggota dari 3rd Squadron – 4th Cavalry of 3rd Brigade Combat Team, United States Army Pacific (3 – 4 CAV, 3rd Bde Combat Team, USARPAC) terlibat dalam eksesais ini, yang dijadualkan bermula pada 22 Jun 2024 hingga 30 Jun 2024.
Hadir bagi merasmikan Eksesais PAHLAWAN WARRIOR ialah Leftenan Kolonel Pengiran Baharuddin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Pegawai Pemerintah 2Bn TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Leftenan Kolonel Josh Long, 29th Brigade Engineer Battalion Commander dari 3 – 4 CAV, 3rd Bde Combat Team, USARPAC, serta Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota 2Bn TDDB, dan USARPAC.
Eksesais PAHLAWAN WARRIOR 03/2024 merupakan eksesais dua hala yang ketiga kalinya dilaksanakan di antara TDDB dan USARPAC sejak bermulanya pada tahun 2018. Eksesais ini adalah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kerjasama dan persahabatan di antara kedua-dua buah tentera melalui perkongsian pengetahuan dan pengalaman di semua peringkat. Bagi eksesais tahun ini, TDDB akan mengetuai fasa peperangan hutan, manakala USARPAC akan memfokuskan kepada fasa operasi bandar.
