BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 1st March 2024 – The Closing Ceremony of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Induction Programme for 29 newly commissioned officers of Officer Cadet School Intake 22 was held today at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison. The two-week induction programme, started from 19th February 2024 to 1st March 2024. Officers were exposed to various units within the RBLF including visits to the RBLF Headquarters, Combat Service Support RBLF Headquarters, School of Infantry RBLF, Second Battalion RBLF, Royal Guards Regiment RBLF Headquarters and First Battalion E Coy, Bangar Camp.
The programme provided an introduction and insight into units operating within RBLF whilst showcasing their current capabilities through various briefs and exhibitions. It serves as a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of RBLF capabilities as a crucial component to the national defence.
The recently commissioned officers also had the opportunity to engage in Leadership Talk sessions with Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of RBLF, the Deputy Commander of RBLF and the Chief of Staff RBLF. During the session, the Commander emphasised the significance of self-reflection and fostering strong relationships among personnel, underscoring their pivotal role in building a resilient organisation. He also urged the new officers to consistently embody the RBLF philosophy of Satria, Setia, and Sedia.
The program this year was coordinated and overseen by the Combat Service Support RBLF.
PROGRAM INDUKSI BAGI PEGAWAI-PEGAWAI BARU BERAKHIR
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 1 Mac 2024 – Majlis Penutup Program Induksi Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) bagi 29 Pegawai-Pegawai baru dari Sekolah Pegawai Kadet Pengambilan ke 22 telah diadakan di Mes Pegawai, Berakas Garison. Program ini telah dijalankan selama dua minggu bermula 19 Februari 2024 hingga 1 Mac 2024. Berbagai pendedahan telah diberikan, yang merangkumi lawatan ke Markas TDDB, Khidmat Bantuan Kombat TDDB, Sekolah Infantri TDDB, Rejimen Pengawal Diraja TDDB dan E Kompeni, Batalion Pertama TDDB.
Melalui lawatan tersebut, rombongan diberikan taklimat pengenalan mengenai unit-unit yang beroperasi di TDDB sambil mempamerkan keupayaan TDDB. Ia merupakan peluang yang amat bermakna bagi memahami lebih mendalam akan keupayaan TDDB sebagai komponen penting dalam pertahanan negara.
Selain itu, rombongan juga berpeluang menghadiri Taklimat Kepimpinan bersama Brigedier Jeneral Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Pemerintah TDDB, Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB dan Ketua Staf TDDB. Melalui taklimat tersebut, Pemerintah TDDB menekankan kepentingan muhasabah diri dan pengukuhan hubungan sesama anggota yang lain kerana setiap anggota menyumbang dalam membina organisasi yang kukuh. Beliau juga mengingatkan agar semua pegawai-pegawai baru berkenaan untuk sentiasa mengekalkan peranan asas TDDB iaitu Satria, Setia dan Sedia selaku pemimpin tentera.
Program induksi pada tahun ini telah dianjurkan dan dikendalikan oleh Khidmat Bantuan Kombat TDDB.
