TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 22 December 2023 – Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held a Regimental Dinner Night in conjunction of RBLF 62nd anniversary at the Warrant Officer, Staff Sergeant and Sergeants’ Mess, Second Battalion RBLF.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Warrant Officer 1 Kifley bin Haji Johari, Sergeant Major of RBLF. Also present were Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) from all units of RBLF.
The Guest of Honour was heralded by a bugler, initiating a group photo session alongside RBLF Sergeant Majors and event committees. The Regimental Dinner commenced with Surah Al-Fatihah led by Sergeant Khairul Anuar bin Haji Latif, Armoured Recce Squadron. The event pulsated with vibrancy as the Hornbill musical graced the gathering with melodious tunes while a video spotlighted the RBLF’s year-long activities.
In commemoration of the RBLF’s 62nd anniversary, the RBLF’s Sergeant Major delivered an address reflecting on the organisation’s rich history and present achievements. This included significant milestones such as the establishment of the Field Headquarters, the integration of advanced technology in the Armoured Recce Squadron’s assets, and inauguration of the third Combat Engineer Squadron. He also underscored the importance of exemplary leadership among the senior ranks, urging them to serve as mentors fostering integrity and expertise within their respective ranks.
The ceremony concluded on a warm note as the RBLF Sergeant Major shared moments with the Hornbill Music Band, culminating in the signing of the ceremonial parchment, symbolising the unity and camaraderie prevailing within the RBLF.
MAJLIS MAKAN MALAM BERADAT SEMPENA HARI ULANG TAHUN TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI KE 62 TAHUN PERINGKAT PTB KANAN TDDB
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Jumaat, 22 Disember 2023 – Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB) Kanan telah mengadakan Majlis Makan Malam Beradat sempena Hari Ulang Tahun Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) ke 62 tahun bertempat di Mes Pegawai Waran, Staf Sarjan dan Sarjan Batalion Kedua TDDB, Perkhemahan Tutong.
Hadir sebagai Tetamu Kehormat ialah Pegawai Waran 1 Kifley bin Haji Johari, Sarjan Mejar TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB) Kanan dari semua unit TDDB.
Ketibaan Sarjan Mejar TDDB disambut dengan tiupan bugler dan diteruskan dengan sesi bergambar ramai dan resepsi ramah mesra. Majlis Makan Malam Beradat dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al – Fatihah yang dikepalai oleh Sarjan Khairul Anuar bin Haji Latif dari Skuadron Kereta Perisai Peninjau. Majlis diiringi dengan irama muzik dari kumpulan Hornbill dan seterusnya menyaksikan tayangan video aktiviti – aktiviti TDDB di sepanjang tahun ini.
Sarjan Mejar TDDB menyampaikan ucapan dengan mengimbas kembali pencapaian yang dicapai oleh TDDB. Ia merangkumi kejayaan penubuhan unit baru seperti Markas Medan TDDB, penaiktarafan aset – aset Skuadron Kereta Perisai Peninjau dengan menggunakan tekologi moden, penubuhan Skuadron ke 3 Jurutera Tempur (Pembinaan) dan sebagainya. Selain itu, beliau turut mengingatkan kepada semua peringkat PTB Kanan TDDB untuk menjadi contoh kepada anggota lain dan menanamkan sikap integriti di dalam diri masing – masing sebagai seorang PTB kanan yang berpengalaman dan berpengetahuan.
Majlis berakhir dengan sesi Sarjan Mejar TDDB bersama kumpulan muzik hornbill dan penandatanganan lembaran kenangan.
