CAMBERLEY, Friday, 15 December 2023 – The 202nd Sovereign’s Parade of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS), marking a prestigious milestone for Intake 231 who underwent their Commissioning Course for 44 weeks including the Royal Brunei Land Force Officer Cadet Muhammad Aminuddin bin Haji Muhamad, one of the 25 international cadets who had attended the course. The ceremony took place today in a prestigious ceremony at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom. Present as Guest of Honour for the ceremony was General Sir Timothy Buchan Radford KCB DSO OBE.
Officer Cadet Aminuddin began his arduous training on 8 January 2023 and successfully completed the course on 15 December 2023. Prior to his commissioning, Officer Cadet Aminuddin attended Pre RMAS – Phase B at the Shrivenham Defence Academy from 28 November 2022 to 16 December 2022, in which in this preparatory phase, it played an important role in shaping his skills and readiness to face the challenges ahead.
The main achievement during the training was that Officer Cadet Aminuddin and his platoon (13th Platoon, The Somme Company) emerged as winners in the Platoon Competition, The Sovereign’s Platoon. The competition, which determines the best platoon in recruitment, judges’ participants based on a variety of competition events including drill, orienteering, shooting, cross-country and field training. The platoon’s distinctive multicoloured lanyard reflects their excellence and endurance throughout the academy.
The Sovereign’s Parade symbolises commitment, discipline, and dedication. Their successful completion of the training program at the RMAS marked the beginning of their service to their respective regiments and countries.
PENAULIAHAN PEGAWAI KADET MUHAMMAD AMINUDDIN BIN HAJI MUHAMAD DARI ROYAL MILITARY ACADEMY SANDHURST
CAMBERLEY, Juma’at, 15 Disember 2023 – Majlis Perarakan Pentauliahan ke 202 di Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS), United Kingdom telah melakar satu pencapaian bagi Pengambilan ke-231 yang telah berjaya menjalani Kursus Pentauliahan selama 44 minggu termasuk Pegawai Kadet Muhammad Aminuddin bin Haji Muhamad, iaitu salah seorang daripada 25 kadet antarabangsa yang telah menghadiri kursus tersebut. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah General Sir Timothy Buchan Radford KCB DSO OBE.
Pegawai Kadet Aminuddin telah memulakan latihan pada 8 Januari 2023 yang lepas dan berjaya menamatkan kursus tersebut pada 15 Disember 2023. Sebelum penauliahannya, Pegawai Kadet Aminuddin menghadiri Pre RMAS – Phase B di Akademi Pertahanan Shrivenham dari 28 November 2022 hingga 16 Disember 2022. Melalui fasa persediaan ini, ia memainkan peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kemahiran dan kesiagaan beliau untuk menghadapi cabaran mendatang.
Pencapaian signifikan semasa latihan ialah apabila Pegawai Kadet Aminuddin dan platunnya (Platun 13, The Somme Company) muncul sebagai juara dalam Pertandingan Platun, The Sovereign’s Platoon. Pertandingan ini bertujuan bagi menentukan platun terbaik dan telah dinilai berdasarkan pelbagai aspek termasuk perlawanan kawad, merintis, menembak, rentas desa dan latihan tempur. Tali leher Platun pelbagai warna melambangkan kecemerlangan dan ketahanan mereka semasa kursus.
Majlis Perarakan Pentauliahan melambangkan komitmen, disiplin, dedikasi dan kejayaan mereka menamatkan program latihan di RMAS, di samping bermulanya tugas mereka selaku pegawai tentera yang bertauliah kepada perkhidmatan dan negara masing-masing.
