BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 14 December 2023 – Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) has held an Opening Ceremony of Tadarus Al – Quran today in conjunction with the RBLF 62nd anniversary. Present at Surau Al – Hikmah, Penanjong Garrison was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Acting Deputy Commander, RBLF. Also in attendance were senior officers, officers and personnel of RBLF. Similar ceremonies were also held at all RBLF camps attended by the respective Commanding Officers and senior officers.
The event commenced with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah-Al Fatihah, followed by reciting of Al-Quran led by Imam Afiq Abdul Halim bin Haji Daniel Alexander Iskandar Zulkarnain, Imam of Surau Al – Hikmah.[EE1] The event concluded with the recitation of Closing Doa and mass Asar Prayer.
The event is aimed to inculcate a sense of community among the personnel of the RBLF through religion and to strengthen character development through the complete recitation of 30 juzu’ of the Al-Quran. This practice is in line with the aspiration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to encourage education and literacy in Al-Quran.
MAJLIS PEMBUKAAN TADARUS AL-QURAN SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI KE 62 TAHUN
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 14 Disember 2023 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Pembukaan Tadarus Al -Qur’an pada hari ini bersempena sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun TDDB ke 62 tahun. Hadir bagi majlis di Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garison ialah Leftenan Kolonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Pemangku Timbalan Pemerintah, TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah pegawai – pegawai kanan, pegawai – pegawai, dan anggota TDDB. Majlis yang sama turut diadakan secara serentak di semua perkhemahan TDDB dengan dihadiri oleh pegawai – pegawai pemerintah mengikut unit masing – masing.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan Tadarus Al-Quran yang dikepalai Imam Afiq Abdul Halim bin Haji Daniel Alexander Iskandar Zulkarnain, Imam Surau Al – Hikmah. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Penutup dan menunaikan sembahyang Fardhu Asar berjemaah.
Majlis berkebajikan ini bertujuan untuk memupuk nilai kemasyarakatan di kalangan warga TDDB melalui pembacaan Al-Quran 30 juzu’. Amalan ini bertepatan dengan aspirasi Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam dalam meningkatkan tahap pendidikan serta masyarakat yang celik Al-Quran.
