TUTONG CAMP, Tuesday, 5 December 2023 – Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) held an exhibition in collaboration with Royal Brunei Navy and Royal Brunei Air Force at the Obstacle Course Area and at the field near the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants’, and Sergeant’s Mess, Tutong Camp. A total of 869 scouts participated in the visit, comprising of the Scouts Association from Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Republic of Indonesia, Republic of Singapore and Thailand.
The visit started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a safety briefing at the Royal Dais, Tutong Town. The visitors were then transported to Tutong Camp by military transport. During the visit, they had the opportunity to experience military training at the Obstacle Course Area under the supervision of the Physical Training Instructors and had the opportunity to try military issued items such as camouflage cream and combat rations.
The visit provided the scouts an opportunity for insight and exposure of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces assets and capabilities. In addition, the visit is one of RBLF’s efforts in attracting interest from potential military personnel in the future.
PERSEKUTUAN PENGAKAP MELAWAT KE BATALION KEDUA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Selasa, 5 Disember 2023 – Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB) dengan kerjasama padu bersama Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei dan Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei telah mengungkayahkan pameran khas bagi lawatan dari Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Republik Indonesia, Republik Singapura dan Thailand pada hari ini bertempat di Tapak Merempuh Halangan dan padang lapang berhadapan Mes Pegawai Waran, Staf Sarjan dan Sarjan, Perkhemahan Tutong. Seramai 869 pengakap telah terlibat dalam lawatan tersebut.
Aktiviti dimulakan dengan bacaan surah Al – Fatihah dan penyampaian taklimat keselamatan di Pentas Diraja, Pekan Tutong. Rombongan lawatan seterusnya dibawa masuk ke Perkhemahan Tutong dengan menaiki kenderaan tentera. Semasa lawatan, mereka berpeluang untuk mencuba latihan ketenteraan merempuh halangan di bawah pengawasan jurulatih jasmani yang bertugas dan berkesempatan mencuba beberapa peralatan seperti krim samaran dan ransum tempur bekalan kombat.
Lawatan ini memberi pengalaman dan pendedahan kepada Persekutuan Pengakap mengenai aset dan keupayaan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei. Ia juga menjadi salah satu usaha TDDB dalam menarik minat belia untuk menceburi kerjaya tentera pada masa hadapan.
