PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, November 10, 2023 – School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF) held a Closing Ceremony for the Infantry Regimental Advanced Signaler Course 2023 at the Theatre Room, Block ‘C’, SOI RBLF. A total of 25 Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) comprised of various units from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) have successfully completed the course, which took place from 04 September 2023 to 10 November 2023.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of SOI RBLF. Also present were the Head of Departments, invited NCOs, and directing staff.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Al-Taha verses 114 to 118 by Corporal (U) Awangku Mohammad Amaluddin bin Pengiran Othman. The event continued with speech by Sergeant Mohamad Aizam bin Mahali, Instructor of Signal Training Wing, followed by the delivery of certificates by the Guest of Honour to the course participants consisting of one participant from Joint Force Headquarters, one participant from the RBLF Headquarters, two participants from First Battalion RBLF, two participants from Second Battalion RBLF, two participants from Third Battalion RBLF, three participants from Headquarters Company Field RBLF, four participants from Signal Squadron Combat Service Support (Sig Sqn CSS) RBLF, one participant of the Royal Guards Regiment RBLF, three participants from SOI RBLF, four participants from the Royal Brunei Air Force, one participant from the Special Forces Regiment (SFR), and one participant from Gurkha Reserve Unit Brunei.
The Guest of Honour then presented awards to the course participants; Best Theory was awarded to Lance Corporal Hibatullah Mu’izz @ Abdul Adib bin Haji Mohammad from SOI RBLF, Best Practical was awarded to Corporal Shamsul Rizal bin Abd Rahman from SFR, and Best Overall was awarded to Lance Corporal Khairunnisa Munirah binti Mahmud from Sig Sqn CSS RBLF. The event concluded with a closing speech from the Guest of Honour as an official closing for this course, recital of Closing Doa and a group photo session.
The objective of this course focuses on enhancing the signal skills of the course participants to a higher level. The course also provides exposure to the course participants to be capable and adaptable personnel while carrying out their duties.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS LANJUTAN SEMBOYAN SESI 2023
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 10 November 2023 – Sekolah Infantri Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penutup Kursus Lanjutan Semboyan Sesi 2023 pada hari ini bertempat di Bilik Teater Blok ‘C’, SI TDDB. Seramai 25 Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB) yang terdiri daripada pelbagai unit di Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei telah berjaya menamatkan kursus tersebut yang telah berlangsung dari 04 September 2023 hingga 10 November 2023.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Pegawai Pemerintah SI TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Ketua-Ketua Cawangan, PTB jemputan dan jurulatih-jurulatih kursus.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan Surah Al-Taha ayat 114 hingga 118 oleh Kopral (U) Awangku Mohammad Amaluddin bin Pengiran Othman. Majlis diteruskan dengan ucapan dan kata alu-aluan perjalanan kursus daripada Sarjan Mohamad Aizam bin Mahali, Jurulatih Pengendali Kursus Lanjutan Semboyan Sesi 2023, diikuti dengan penyampaian sijil yang disampaikan oleh Tetamu Kehormat kepada semua peserta kursus. Peserta-peserta kursus terdiri daripada seorang anggota daripada Unit Markas Angkatan Bersama, seorang anggota daripada Markas TDDB, dua anggota daripada Batalion Pertama TDDB, dua anggota daripada Batalion Kedua TDDB, dua anggota daripada Batalion Ketiga TDDB, tiga anggota daripada Kompeni Markas Medan TDDB, empat anggota daripada Skuadron Semboyan Khidmat Bantuan Kombat (KBK TDDB), seorang anggota daripada Rejimen Pengawal Diraja, tiga anggota daripada SI TDDB, empat anggota daripada Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei, seorang anggota daripada Rejimen Pasukan Khas (RPK) dan, seorang anggota daripada Pasukan Simpanan Gurkha.
Tetamu kehormat kemudian menyampaikan anugerah-anugerah cemerlang di setiap aspek penilaian yang merangkumi bidang amali dan teori. Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Teori disandang oleh Las Kopral Hibatullah Mu’izz @ Abdul Adib bin Haji Mohammad dari SI TDDB, Penuntut Terbaik Amali disandang oleh Kopral Shamsul Rizal bin Abd Rahman dari RPK, dan Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan disandang oleh Las Kopral Khairunnisa Munirah binti Mahmud dari Skuadron Semboyan KBK TDDB. Majlis diakhiri dengan ucapan penutup daripada Tetamu Kehormat sebagai penutupan rasmi kursus, bacaan Doa Penutup dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Objektif kursus ini fokus kepada peningkatan kemahiran pelajaran semboyan pada tahap yang lebih tinggi. Kursus ini juga memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam, dan memberikan pendedahan kepada peserta agar mereka dapat menjadi anggota yang berkebolehan dan beradaptasi semasa bertugas.
